most of whom are black&comma; like her&comma; to research and present on famous artists and writers from that period&period; However&comma; this time around s<&sol;span>chool principal Patricia Catania ordered Liriano to stop teaching black history to her students&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8216&semi;Anytime she tried to come after my teachers&comma; it would be an issue&comma;&&num;8217&semi; Liriano told Mic more than a year ago&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8216&semi;She made a lot of the harassment for me a personal thing&period; It became beyond personal when she said my students couldn&&num;8217&semi;t learn about black history&period;&&num;8217&semi;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Liriano claims Catania told her she didn&&num;8217&semi;t understand why a language arts&comma;
