Police shared that the killing spawned from a March 4 altercation where Ronald Delserro&#8217;s bull mastiff attacked a woman inside the victim&#8217;s home.<br />
Three people, including the accused shooter, were killed following Monday&#8217;s incident that apparently stemmed from a neighborhood dispute over a dog, according to Port St. Lucie authorities.</span><br />
Police have identified Ronald Delserro as the 82-year-old man who opened fire on the family inside their St Lucie, Florida home, killing Guy Alexander Hansman, 55, and his teenage daughter, Harper, before dying during a gunfight with authorities. A police officer was also injured in shootout on Monday.<br />
The Port St. Lucie Police Department shared that the killing spawned from a March 4 altercation where Delserro&#8217;s bull mastiff attacked a woman living inside the victims&#8217; home.<br />
Officers said that a judge had determined on Monday that the dog was dangerous, and said Delserro went to confront his neighbors.</p>

&#8216;I believe this to be an intentional act of violence against these neighbors,&#8217; Port St. Lucie Assistant Police Chief Richard Del Toro said on Monday.<br />
&#8216;It&#8217;s tragic. You can&#8217;t rationalize irrational behavior.&#8217;<br />
Friends and loved ones shared photos of the two victims in tributes posted on Facebook, with neighbors initially posting photos of Harper.<br />

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Authorities rushed to a home in the 2500 block of of SE Morningside Boulevard in Port St. Lucie shortly at around 12.30pm when Harper called 911 and said someone was shooting at her parents.<br />
&#8216;If you heard this 911 call it would make the hairs on your neck stand up.<br />
&#8216;A little girl calls 911 and says there&#8217;s someone shooting in our house, I think our parents are dead. I think our family is dead,&#8217; said St Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara.<br />
He said officers found the adult male victim already dead in the garage, and added the 13-year-old girl was critically wounded and later died at a hospital.<br />
At least two other victims managed to escape the house and were transported to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.<br />
A contractor said that he saw the gunman&#8217;s wife just after the gunfire happened.<br />
&#8216;She said, I hope he didn&#8217;t do something stupid,&#8217; Ray Layfield said.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">The shooting appeared to stem from a dispute over the dog, Port St. Lucie Police Department Assistant Chief Richard Del Toro said.<br />
