<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A 29-year-old man in North Miami Beach has been charged with killing his mother after arguing about orange juice, a remote control and use of her car.<br>The murder suspect allegedly admitted to police that “he lost it” during the fatal Sunday afternoon shooting in their home, AP <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://apnews.com/cb584f41082d2ce4ff5e1e02b2d6ed6c" target="_blank">reports</a>.<br>Luis Pages has been charged with one count of second-degree murder of his 59-year-old mother Miriam Gonzalez.<br>According to a police report, Pages was the person who placed the 911 call and reported that he had shot his mother.<br>When a responding officer arrived at the home around 5 p.m. Pages also told the cop, “I killed her. Take me to jail,” the report said <br>After being taken into custody and being questioned by detectives, he revealed that after the argument, his mother held up a pink knife and threatened him. <br>That’s when he pulled out a handgun and shot her multiple times, he said.<br>The mother and son reportedly got into an argument when she refused to let him use her car to go job searching on Labor Day.<br>Pages told investigators he tried to shoot himself too, but was out of bullets. He then called 911. He&#8217;s is being held without bond. </p>
