<p>A Zimbabwean millionaire and socialite has died in a head-on car crash which completely wrecked his Rolls Royce Wraith and killed his passengers.<br>Genius Kadungure, 36, and celebrity fitness trainer and popular influencer Michelle Amuli, 26, better known with her media handle Mimi Moana, were among four people who died in the collision on Borrowdale road in the Zimbabwean capital Harare early Sunday morning.</p>

<p>The other two passengers in the Rolls Royce who also perished in the crash have been identified by local media as foreign nationals &#8211; Limumba Karim, a Malawian national wanted in his home country for fraud, and a woman identified as Mozambican model Alichia Adams.</p>

<p>The flashy businessman, known affectionately as Ginimbi, was reportedly killed after his Rolls Royce was involved in a head-on crash with a Honda in the early hours of Sunday morning.<br>The Rolls Royce reportedly then hit a tree and caught fire with the passengers trapped inside. ;Witnesses said Kadungure was thrown from his vehicle while the three others died in the fire.</p>

<p>Zimbabwean police confirmed in a statement that three people had been &#8216;burnt when the vehicle caught fire after ;it clashed with a Honda Fit head-on as the driver overtook another car.&#8217; ; ;<br>The two others who died in the car crash are reported to be foreign nationals, Malawian, Limumba Karim, and a woman from Mozambican born model Alichia Adams. <br>Karim authorities records show, was a fugitive in his country where he was wanted for fraud.<br>Just hours before the crash, ;Kadungure posted a video on social media showing him climbing into his car to head to the nightclub for the evening.</p>

<p>Just hours earlier, Kadungure posted a video to Instagram of him climbing into the car to leave his mansion in the village of Domboshava to enjoy a night out at Dreams Night Club &#8211; one of his businesses.<br>In the footage, he can be seen dancing and saying: &#8216;We are going to pop champagne. It&#8217;s going to be champagne showers tonight.&#8217;<br>The night out was reportedly to celebrate the 26th birthday of &#8216;fitness bunny&#8217; Amuli, who lists herself as a Socialite, Actress in her media profile.<br>South Africa based Kadungure was well known for flaunting his luxurious lifestyle on social media, often posting videos of himself with fast cars in his palatial home.<br>Last month, he celebrated his birthday with a lavish all-white party, similar to white-themed bashes he has held in the past.</p>

<p>Kadungure who graduated with a Masters degree in Business Administration from Great Zimbabwe University, reportedly started his first business distributing domestic gas, aged 17.<br>In the past he had faced down allegations of fraud in 2009, 2014, 2016 and 2018. According to BBC Ginimbi&#8217;s true net worth is hard to measure because net worth most of his business is not publicly listed. <br>However, a cursory <a href="https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-54869335">estimate</a> of his personal wealth has been put at a range of anything from $10million to $100million. </p>

<p>The crash on Sunday appears to have happened after Kadungure and his friends left the club. ;<br>Witnesses said he was responsive for around five minutes before passing away. ;<br>iHarare News reported that passersby tried to rescue the others from the vehicle but they were still trapped as the Rolls Royce burst into flames. ; <br>It is not clear whether the Honda driver was killed or injured in the crash.</p>

<p>The fraud charges against Malawian Karim who died in the crash related to one of the biggest financial scandal&#8217;s in country&#8217;s history.<br>In just six months in 2013, the Malawian state was allegedly defrauded of more than $32million &#8211; almost 1% of the country&#8217;s GDP. That mpmey according to reports, was siphoned out of government accounts.<br>The scandal resulted in several donors &#8211; who largely bankroll the country&#8217;s budget &#8211; pulling almost half of its aid money. ; ;<br>It is not clear what Karim&#8217;s alleged role in the scandal was, but he reportedly fled to South Africa to avoid arrest. ;<br></p>
