<p>A SWAT team rescued three children from a bedroom window after their father shot dead their mom and his mother-in-law before killing himself in a murder-suicide in Florida, police have said. <br>Police raced to the family&#8217;s home in Tamarac, outside of Miami, after receiving a 911 call about a shooting early on Saturday morning. <br>Sheriff&#8217;s deputies helped the three children aged 4, 8 and 11 climb out of a bedroom window to safety. They were uninjured.<br>Inside, police found the bodies of the children&#8217;s father, Clody Sylverne, 39, and mother, named locally as Benouchka Sylverne, 38. <br>Clody&#8217;s 65-year-old mother-in-law was found critically wounded, and was airlifted by air ambulance to hospital where she later died, the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/crime/fl-ne-dad-kills-wife-mother-in-law-20201213-5wmlhuvnljed3p7msqftpp466e-story.html">Sun-Sentinel</a> reports.</p>

<p>Investigators in Miami, Florida are still looking for a motive for the shooting, but said that they suspect the father of a triple murder-suicide. <br>They would not reveal who made the 911 call. <p>Sergeant Donald Prichard, a spokesman for the Broward Sheriff’s Office, said in a statement: &#8216;The deputies were then able to identify a room where three children were located and assisted them out of the bedroom window to safety.&#8217;<br>He added: &#8216;The suspected murder-suicide left three adults dead and three children without parents.&#8217; <br>Officers entered the property shortly after arrival and found Sylverne dead along with a woman believed to be his wife dead. <br>Another woman, believed to be his mother-in-law and the children&#8217;s grandmother, was alive and was air-lifted to North Broward Health hospital, but she later died. </p>

<p>The Sheriff&#8217;s office did not name either of the women who died, citing Marsy&#8217;s privacy law but said that they believe the shooting was a suspected murder-suicide carried out by Sylverne. <br>Coldy Sylverne’s friend Jimmy Christophonte named the wife as Benouchka, 38, and the shooter as his &#8216;best friend&#8217;, in an interview with <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.local10.com/news/local/2020/12/12/bso-on-scene-of-multiple-shooting-in-tamarac/">Local10</a>. <br>&#8216;I can’t believe it. I am so heartbroken,&#8217; Christophonte said.<br>He also showed photos to media of his friend and a recent video of Sylverne and his wife celebrating her birthday. </p>
