<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A husband who reported his preschool teacher wife missing on New Year&#8217;s Eve has been arrested after cops found her shot dead in a field in Michigan.<br>Amanda Marie Hilton, 31, was discovered on Tuesday morning on a patch of land behind her apartment complex in Southgate, Detroit.<br>Husband Ryan Hilton was arrested having reported that the mother-of-two was last seen late on New Year&#8217;s Eve. ;<br>Hilton is co-operating with police and remains in custody, but he has not been charged with any crime. ;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Following an investigation that involved several law enforcement agencies, Southgate police identified the missing woman’s husband as a person of interest. <br>Shortly after he was taken into custody, the victim’s body was found at around 1 a.m. Tuesday, in an area near the apartments where she resided.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amanda Marie Hilton, 31-years-old, was last seen on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2020, in Southgate. She was observed around 11.30pm New Year&#8217;s Eve getting into a dark-colored Ford Fusion hatchback by witnesses.<br>She was reported missing by Hilton in the early hours of the following morning.<br>on Tuesday January 5th, 2021, her body was located in a field behind an apartment complex in Southgate. She had been shot, but authorities are still waiting for a report from the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office to confirm the cause of death.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The missing teacher&#8217;s husband has been taken into custody in the death of Amanda Hilton. <strong><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.facebook.com/RiZZle313" target="_blank">Ryan Hilton</a></strong> ;reported his wife missing on New Year&#8217;s Day. Athough in custody, he is listed as a person of interest and is said to be cooperating with police. <br>Ryan Hilton has not yet been formally charged, but that is expected later to change this week. <br>Amanda and Hilton married in September 2019 and she gave birth to her youngest son the year before. ;<br>Amanda Hilton ccording to her <strong><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.facebook.com/amanda.attard.3" target="_blank">Facebook profile</a></strong> ;was a Preschool Teacher’s Assistant at Children’s Place Montessori of Brownstown. She was a mother to a young son. Amanda married Ryan Hilton in September of 2019. At this time a motive for her murder has not been revealed.<br></p>
