An Oklahoma pastor’s wife and her lover have been arrested for the murder of her husband after plotting to kill him after they all had threesome in at a local hotel.
Kristie Dawnell Evans was arrested Thursday after admitting to her role in the March 22 fatal shooting of David Evans, pastor of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Ada, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations said Friday.
Kahlil Deamie Square was also arrested in connection with the murder.
Kristie, 47, and her 26-year-old lover Square, have been accused of murdering of her 50-year-old minister husband.
David Evans was the church minister in Ada, Oklahoma, however according to police, he and his wife had had at least one threesome with Kahlil Square at a Super 8 hotel.
Their group romance began several months ago, according to police.
‘The three of them, Kristie, Kahlil and David, had a sexual relationship,’ before Kristie arranged for her lover to shoot her husband, pastor David Evans dead while she was lying next to him in bed, police said

Kristie and Kahlil also had a separate sexual relationship, just the two of them,’ Capt. Beth Green, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, said. After engaging in group sex, Kristie and Khalil kept sleeping together.
It’s unclear how the couple met Squarel, or how their threesome plans came about in the first place.
An OSBI agent said David Evans, his wife and Square had their first threesome at a Super 8 months earlier, the affidavit states “On one of those occasions, Kristie secretly dropped her phone number on the floor for Kahlil,” the agent said. “Kristine continued to communicate by phone daily with Kahlil without David’s knowledge.
On March 22, Khalil entered the couple’s family home while they were sleeping and shot the pastor dead in his bed, according to police.
He then fled the scene and Kristie called 911, claiming an intruder had broken in and killed him. Four days later, she confessed to police that she and her lover had planned the murder.
She said she gave him the gun, a box of bullets and left the backdoor of their home open for him to enter through.
Both have been booked into county jail on first degree murder charges.

Kristie and David Evans who had been married for decades, had three children together, but Kristi told Square her husband was ‘verbally abusive’ towards her.
Kristie Evans told investigators Square stayed at the couple’s home from March 17-19 while her husband was on a missionary trip to Mexico. She also claimed in another interview that David Evans was verbally abusive — regularly calling her “slut, fat, ugly and whore,” the affidavit states.
Evans told Square about the alleged abuse and said “it would be nice to have more freedom,” according to the affidavit.

She admitted giving Square the gun and bullets police say were used in the slaying – and left a backdoor unlocked for him to get inside, according to the affidavit. She further admitted to urging Square to “proceed with the plan” upon finding him hiding in the dining room and being concerned about making too much noise, authorities said.
Kristie Evans said she hid in the living room until she heard a “pop” from the bedroom and then called for help from bed as Square ran out a backdoor, the affidavit states.
According to the police report, she confided in her eldest daughter about what she had done.
Kristie Evans and Khalil Square both now facing first-degree murder charges in the slaying. She is being held in the Pontotoc County Jail and Square is in the Cleveland County Jail.
The church where David was a pastor released a statement on Friday saying it was shocked by the circumstances surrounding his death.
‘Harmony Free Will Baptist Church has been grieving the death of our Pastor, David Evans, over the last few days. The circumstances that are now coming to light have taken us by surprise and we are greatly saddened.
‘We serve a perfect Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us.
‘These revelations do not diminish that truth and we will continue to serve Him.
‘We are aware that even pastors can succumb to human frailty and we ask that our privacy be respected at this time as we as a church family grieve and process all of these events,’ they said.
