<p>A suspected stalker was arrested on Good Friday for allegedly trying to kidnap his former co-worker after a month-long harassment campaign &#8211; and shooting her husband through their front door during the abduction attempt.<br>Justin Arthur-Ray Davis, whose booking photo shows him with cuts across his forehead and a plaster on his nose, had been waiting outside the woman&#8217;s home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on April 2 when he pounced as she left for work, police say.<br>Davis leapt out of his truck with a shotgun and ran towards the woman, who was being accompanied by her husband, prompting the unarmed couple to flee back into their apartment, according to a statement from the Tulsa Police Department.0:47<br>The suspect shot through the lock, hitting the woman&#8217;s husband on the hand, before storming the property, grabbing his victim, and bundling her violently down the stairs, it is claimed.<br>The husband ran to help her, at which point Davis threatened to kill him if he did not let him take his wife into the truck, a police statement continued.<br>He then allegedly fired two warning shots into the air.<br>At this point, officers arrived after 911 calls from neighbors and Davis ran back to his truck without the victim and sped off from the gated apartment complex. ;</p>

<p>The would-be kidnap target managed to escape, as she and her husband were forced to flee back into their apartment, as aneighbor dialed 911, according to an arrest report ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://ktul.com/news/local/police-chase-ends-in-crash-04-02-2021" target="_blank">obtained by KTUL</a>.<br>Davis proceeded to hop into his truck as cops arrived at the scene . He led copshem on a high-speed chase in excess of 100 mph before crashing into a pole on Interstate 44 and was arrested.<br>The suspect had allegedly stalked his victim for a month after resigning from work for an unknown reason.<br>Davis who resigned from work reportedly, had developed an obsession for the woman. ; ;During the harassment campaign &#8211; which the woman reported to police &#8211; he sat outside her marital home and left sweets and food. ;<br>Davis, who had injuries to his head following his arrest, was taken to a hospital before being booked into Tulsa County Jail on charges including kidnapping, burglary, stalking and pointing a weapon with deadly intent, records show.<br>Investigators recovered the shotgun and ammunition following the terrifying attack, police said.
