<p>The gunman who shot and killed a pro golfer at a Georgia country club on Saturday reportedly had two other bodies stashed in the back of the truck he was driving. <br>It happened Saturday afternoon at Pinetree Country Club near Kennesaw State University. The private course sits along McCollum Parkway near KSU’s main campus.<br>The gunman has still not been publicly identified by police but he remains on the run two days after shooting dead golf pro Gene Siller.<br>A white Ram 3500 pickup truck was also located on the green, police said. Upon further investigation, two other deceased males were discovered in the bed of the pickup truck. Both males suffered apparent gunshot wounds. One of them was identified as Paul Pierson, the registered owner of the Ram 3500. The other male has not yet been identified as of Sunday.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s still unclear when he killed all of the men but police were alerted to him on Saturday. <br>The gunman drove a white pick-up truck onto the green at Pinetree County Club. <br>He was confronted by Siller at the tenth hole and in response, shot Siller in the head. He then fled the scene. <br>When Cobb County deputies got to the scene, they found the two bodies in the bed of the pick-up truck. They then confirmed that the truck belonged to Pierson. <br>On Monday, the police department still hadn&#8217;t caught him, nor would they share his identity publicly. <br>It&#8217;s unclear what the motive was. <br>In the days before the incident, Siller confronted a man who had been fishing on the golf course and the man became so agitated that Siller called the police.<br>It&#8217;s unclear if it&#8217;s the same man who killed him, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/three-men-killed-in-cobb-county-golf-course-shooting-suspect-still-at-large">Fox 5 Atlanta </a>reports.</p>

<p>Siller had reportedly tried to stop the white pickup truck from driving onto the golf course before he was shot. <br>Other golfers heard five or six shots ringing out. <br>The Georgia State Golf Association initially identified Siller, a pro golfer, golfing instructor and Director of Pinetree, as one of the victims on Saturday evening. <br>&#8216;All of us at the GSGA are deeply saddened by the tragic events that occurred earlier today at Pinetree CC. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gene Siller&#8217;s family and friends,&#8217; the Georgia State Golf Association tweeted.<br>The Georgia PGA also issued a statement offering its condolences on Twitter: <br>&#8216;Tragedy has stricken the Georgia Section PGA in the loss of our Member, Gene Siller. Thoughts and prayers for his family and the Pinetree Country Club family.&#8217;</p>

<p>Siller leaves behind a wife and two young children. A <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/the-family-of-gene-siller?utm_campaign=m_pd%20share-sheet&;utm_medium=copy_link_all&;utm_source=customer&;fbclid=IwAR2qW5gE8pgESX7drfM3ELJuwcWSLWNo1YaJwFHNqhg3sR-Yktp1MTjKQaA">GoFundMe</a> has been set up to help his family. <br>Details surrounding the shooting remain scant, other than it happened around 2.30pm Saturday at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, about 27 miles outside Atlanta. <br>Footage from WAGA-TV showed a white pickup truck stuck on a hill in the middle of the club&#8217;s golf course.</p>

<p>A witness told <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/shooting-at-county-club-in-cobb-county-leaves-1-dead">Fox 5 Atlanta</a> that someone, later identified by the golf organizations as Siller, tried to stop the pickup truck from going on to the golf course when he was shot. <br>Neighbor John Lavender told WAGA-TV that he heard &#8216;five, six booms go off&#8217; and wasn&#8217;t sure whether it was gunshots or fireworks. &#8216;You just don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s gunshots in this area,&#8217; he said.<br>The suspect, a 6-foot-1-inch Hispanic male with long hair was last seen in the area of Pinetree Country Club and was headed toward Frey Lake Road. <br>The country club is near the campus of Kennesaw State University. After the shooting, the school tweeted that there were no credible threats to campus</p>

<p>Earlier the Kennesaw State University sent out an alert out warning students about the shooting. <br>The suspect who remains at large was described a is a Hispanic male wearing a white t-shirt, work pants and possibly a hat. He is 6′1′&#8217; and weighs around 170 lbs.<br></p>
