<p>An 83-year-transsexual on lifetime parole for killing two women has been charged in connection with the killing of a 68-year-old woman whose body was found dismembered in a New York neighborhood, law enforcement sources said. The suspect, Harvey Marcelin, had served time in prison for one murder in 1963 and another, shortly after he was released from prison in 1984.<br>Marcelin, a transwoman, was arrested late last week on a charge of concealing a body and could soon face upgraded charges after she was allegedly caught on surveillance cameras dumping a body near her Cypress Hills apartment in Brooklyn. <br>A leg was found on Monday night in Cypress Hills, just days after a torso was found a few blocks away last Thursday. The body parts were identified as belonging to Susan Leyden, formerly of Teaneck, New Jersey. Sources said the victim was known to Marcelin.</p>

<p>Leyden headless torso was stuffed into a garbage bag and dumped in a shopping cart in Brooklyn, sources said. Last Thursday, Jose “Joey” Cintron was passing by when he made the grisly discovery on Pennsylvania and Atlantic Avenues in Brooklyn around 1:45am when he peeked inside the garbage bag. <br>Police said the female corpse was found inside the bag without a head or limbs and did not appear to be decomposed. <br>A search warrant into Marcelin&#8217;s home turned up a &#8216;human head&#8217; believed to be Leyden&#8217;s, along with electric saws Marcelin bought at a nearby Home Depot. </p>

<p>Police said the female corpse was found inside the bag without a head or limbs and did not appear to be decomposed. They said the head was found in Marcelin&#8217;s apartment <br>On Monday, a severed leg, which had been cut from the knee down and still wearing a sock, was poking out of a discarded tire four blocks away. It is believed to belong to the same woman as the torso. <br>By scouring surveillance footage, police were able to track down a woman seen dumping the trash bags. <br>Leyden was last seen alive on February 27 as she entered Marceline&#8217;s apartment as she carried a &#8216;multi-colored bag with a flower decal,&#8217; according to prosecutors.<br> Marcelin was spotted leaving the building with the same bag three days later. </p>

<p>If convicted for the murder of Leyden, it would be the third murder Marcelin is responsible for. <br>On April 18, 1963, Marcelin was arrested for <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/03/09/serial-killer-83-eyed-in-case-of-dismembered-body-found-in-nyc/">shooting her then-girlfriend</a> Jacqueline Bonds three times inside their Manhattan apartment, when she told him she was leaving him.<br>Marcelin was sentenced to 20 years-to-life and was paroled in 1984, according to state prison records. <br>Less than a year later, she went on to fatally stab another live in girlfriend, stuffing her body into a bag and dumping on the streets near New York&#8217;s Central Park. <br>Marcelin was arrested in 1986 and convicted of manslaughter, receiving a 6-12 year sentence. She was released from the Cayuga Correctional Facility in upstate New York in 2019. <br>Prior to her release, Marcelin had admitting during a parole hearing that she had &#8216;a problem with women,&#8217; the Post reported. <br>Marcelin is currently in custody and being held without bail at Riker&#8217;s Island. <br>The Brooklyn District Attorney&#8217;s Office said the case is still under investigation. </p>
