<p class="wp-block-paragraph">OnlyFans star Courtney Clenney has been charged with murder in the <a href="https://konniemoments.com/2022/04/08/onlyfans-star-courtney-clenney-seen-covered-in-blood-being-questioned-by-cops-moments-after-stabbing-her-boyfriend-to-death-in-their-miami-apartment-on-sunday-yet-to-be-charged/">stabbing death</a> of her estranged boyfriend at their Miami apartment earlier this year, according to reports.<br>Clenney who goes by &#8216;Courtney Tailor&#8217; on social media, was arrested in Hawaii on Wednesday and is currently awaiting extradition to Florida, where she’ll face a second degree murder charge for allegedly killing 27-year-old Christian Obumseli in April, her defense attorney, Frank Prieto, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/crime/article264361166.html" target="_blank">confirmed to the Miami Herald</a>. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the time Prieto said. “This is a tragedy for all involved but it was not criminal conduct; Courtney was defending herself and the investigation will reveal exactly that. But ;civil rights attorney Lee Merritt, speaking for Obumseli’s family, ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CcBwSxLFRYA/" target="_blank">posted on Instagram</a> ;that cops have more than enough evidence to make an “immediate arrest.” ; <br>Instead Clenney, who has 2 million Instagram followers, told first responders that she was suicidal after the incident and was placed in a mental institution, as a precaution, officials said.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After she was released Larry Handfield, attorney for Obumseli’s family, pushed police to reopen the investigation. Fighting her self-defense explanation which painted Obumseli as a habitual aggressor, Handfield said that cops visited the couple on at least four occasions for domestic calls and noted Obumseli was never taken into custody or charged.<br>On the other hand Handfield emphasized, Clenney wasn’t taken into custody despite allegedly having an open warrant for a 2015 public intoxication case from California. <br>Her priors also includes the arrest on Sept. 16, 2020, in Austin, Texas for driving under the influence, the Sun ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.the-sun.com/news/5085004/courtney-tailor-onlyfans-killer-2020-mugshot/" target="_blank">reported</a>. She was scheduled for a pre-trial conference on June 15.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The 26-year-old influencer had been at a rehab facility in Hawaii for substance abuse and post traumatic disorder when she was picked up by police, her attorney said.<br>“I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged,” Prieto told the paper.<br>“We look forward to clearing her name in court.”<br>The arrest comes more almost four months after prosecutors, at the insistence of the victim&#8217;s family, reopened investigation of the fatal stabbing. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her attorney has claimed that Clenney acted in self-defense when Obumseli attacked her after stalking her for several weeks.<br>The Instagram star was forced to stab Obumseli after he grabbed her by the throat, Prieto said.<br>The couple, who had been dating for less than two years, were estranged at the time, the attorney added. A <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.tmz.com/watch/2022-04-07-040722-courtney-tailor-1391697/" target="_blank">Video</a> from her arrest showed Clenney handcuffed and drenched in blood in a bra after the tragic fight.<br>According to the Herald, the pair had been living together for a few months at the apartment building, where staff noted multiple domestic incidents and even tried to evict them. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Although Clenney, aka <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.instagram.com/courtneytailor/" target="_blank">Courtney Tailor</a>, claimed that she was suicidal after killing Obumseli and spent time in a mental institution, she was seen at a bar with her father<a href="https://nypost.com/2022/04/11/onlyfans-star-courtney-tailor-confronted-at-miami-hotel-bar-over-killing-her-boyfriend/"> just days after Obumseli’s death</a>. <br>New witnesses have come forward in the case, including a prior boyfriend of Clenney who claimed she<a href="https://nypost.com/2022/04/11/alleged-onlyfans-stabber-courtney-tailor-i-dont-like-to-be-controlled/"> </a> tried to stab him during a fight. reveals attorneys for the victim&#8217;s family. <br>The Miami DA&#8217;s office also released a video of Clenney attacking Obumseli in an elevator. The new one-minute video shows the couple enter the elevator as Clenney bashed on the touch screen to chose a floor.<br>Obumseli appeared to try to calm her down but she turned to him and slapped him and pushed him multiple times in a brutal assault.<br>She jumped up and grabbed his hair from behind, wrenching his head backwards before punching him in the side of the head.<br>The victim tucked her under his arm and tried to restrain her before pressing the elevator button for their floor. But she continued to launch repeated attacks on him as he tried to block her vicious blows.<br>Clenney kept up her attack even as the doors opened and they spilled out into the corridor while appearing to shout at each other.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile the documents also reveal that the couple would have furious rows when they lived in Austin, Texas, with Clenney on one occasion allegedly, flinging a huge painting off their balcony.<br>Prosecutors have also appear to have dismissed the influencer&#8217;s claim that she threw the murder weapon [knife], across the room from over 10ft away from the victim. The stabbing prosecutors said, happened close up and personal.<br>Obumseli’s family had been told initially that Clenney was cleared and would not face charges, their lawyer who claims that police rushed to judgment in the case — in part because Clenney has “blonde hair and blue eyes.” <br>“All the family wants is an objective, fair investigation,” Handfield said, noting that Obumseli had no prior criminal record.<br> “The family just wants to be treated like anyone else would be treated,” Handfield said.</p>
