<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Footage has been released showing the moment two Florida ;fathers go berserk at each other after allegedly shooting each others&#8217; daughters. The two men were arrested after two children were injured in a road rage shooting over the weekend that started in Duval County and stretched into Nassau County, police said.<br>The video starts with one of the men Frank Allison, 43, yelling obscenities at his antagonist William Hale, 35, after the pair are said to have fired the rounds during a road rage incident near Jacksonville.<br>&#8216;That&#8217;s what you get!&#8217; Allison is heard yelling. Allison then offers his shirt to his 14-year-old girl Shelby, who is being helped by cops after she was allegedly shot in the back by Hale.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After an exchange between Frank Allison and police, the officers read William Hale his rights.<br>Hale&#8217;s five-year-old daughter, who is not seen in the footage, was allegedly shot by Allison in the leg.<br>Hale declines needing a lawyer before police say they will ask him questions, which is not shown on video.<br>Much of the video is muted, as both Allison and Hale relay information to the police, including Allison, who said he &#8216;would never, never put (his daughter) in a position.&#8217;<br>&#8216;Do I have to ride in an ambulance?&#8217; Shelby, who suffered a punctured lung, is heard saying. Both fathers were arrested on charges of attempted murder. ;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Witnesses told cops that a black Dodge Ram pickup truck with five occupants and a gray Nissan Murano sport utility vehicle with three occupants were involved in the incident, which one witness described as a “cat-and-mouse game.”<br>William Joseph Hale was driving the Ram and Frank Gilliard Allison was driving the Murano north on U.S. 1 from the Jacksonville area, both “speeding, driving erratically and brake checking each other,” Leeper said.<br>Sheriff Bill Leeper<strong> </strong>said that at some point, the driver of the Ram got up alongside the Murano, rolled a window down and began shouting at the driver of the Murano to pull over. <br>A passenger of the Murano then rolled down a window and made an obscene gesture, and the driver of the Murano rolled down his window to shout back at the other driver when a plastic water bottle was thrown from the Ram into the Nissan, according to Leeper.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to Allison, the Nissan driver, &#8220;the water bottle did not hurt him or cause him to lose control of vehicle,” sheriff Leeper said.<br>Still Allison grabbed his .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun and fired one shot at the Ram — which went through the rear passenger door on the right side and struck a 5-year-old girl — before speeding off.<br>“Allison stated the reason he fired his weapon was to get out of the whole situation,” Leeper said.<br>Hale, the Dodge Ram, &#8220;heard a loud ‘pow’ but didn’t really think nothing of it until everyone started freaking out in the back seat.” <br>The driver of the Ram who realized one of his passengers had been shot as the Murano sped away, sped closer to the Murano, and began firing several shots from his Glock 43 9-millimeter handgun — one of which went through the rear of the vehicle and struck a 14-year-old girl in the back, causing her to suffer a collapsed lung.<br>Hale told police that “he shot everything that was in the magazine — seven or eight rounds.” </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Both girls are expected to survive, but the sheriff of Nassau County, Bill Leeper, condemned both fathers for their stupidity in what a witness said was high-speed &#8216;cat-and-mouse&#8217; game.<br>&#8216;What is scarier than one crazy driver with a gun? Two crazy drivers with a gun,&#8217; Leeper said on Monday.<br>&#8216;But it could have been very easily turned out that way because two people were acting stupid and let their tempers get the best of them. There could have been two dead kids because of two stupid grown men.&#8217;<br>Hale was driving a black Dodge Ram near his home with five occupants inside, including his mother Britney.<br>Allison was driving a gray Nissan Murano with three occupants, including his wife Jessica and daughter Shelby, all heading home to Georgia.<br>Both were on US Highway 1, near Callahan around 6pm.<br>They both accused each other of &#8216;brake checking,&#8217; driving erratically and dangerously.<br>Jessica Allison wound down the window and began making offensive gestures at the Hale vehicle, and the Hales then threw a water bottle into the Allison vehicle.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Frank Allison opened fire while driving, believing he had hit the Hales&#8217; tires &#8211; when in fact he had hit the girl.<br>Hale fired back, striking Allison&#8217;s daughter who was riding in the car with one of seven or eight rounds he unloaded into the speeding vehicle.<br>The mother of one of the children who was shot can be heard on a 911 call.<br>&#8216;My daughter&#8217;s been shot — please help me,&#8217; she says.<br>A child can also be heard weeping on the call.<br>&#8216;I don&#8217;t want to die,&#8217; the child can be heard saying, according to ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.news4jax.com/news/local/2022/10/10/2-men-arrested-after-2-children-shot-in-road-rage-incident-nassau-county-sheriff-says/" target="_blank">News4Jax</a>.<br>Both drivers continued heading north, with their injured daughters in the back.<br>The pair saw a Nassau County Sheriff&#8217;s Office patrol car and stopped, then began arguing and fighting with each other by the side of the road, and the deputy had to break up the fight.<br>The two hurt children were transported to the hospital, with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The pair of fighting dads were booked into jail on attempted murder charges.</p>
