On Wednesday the former Ohio school coach pled guilty to having sex with a student softball player after ‘Begging the teen not to report her.’
Authorities obtained footage of her allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old student in the back seat of a car eight times in April 2021.

The 31-year-old former coach is currently waiting for the final trial scheduled for next month by Judge Dan Haughey.
Midweek Ashley Ra-Nae Rison accepted legal culpability for one count of sexual battery and two counts of gross sexual imposition, according to Butler County Court records.

Ra-Nae Rison who worked at New Miami school as a softball and basketball coach from August 2015, quit her job on May 3, 2021, the day the crimes arrived at the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Assistant Prosecutor Lindsay Sheehan also stated: ‘In addition to what the child tells us, we do have recordings between Ms. Rison and the child of where Ms. Rison makes multiple incriminating statements in asking, begging the child not to report her to the authorities.’
Prosecutors also blamed her for tampering with evidence and giving alcohol to an underage person but these were later dropped.

Superintendent Rhonda Parker said: ‘Ashley Ra-Nae Rison is no longer employed by the New Miami Local School Board.
‘Effective 3rd May, 2021, Ms. Rison resigned from her position as Paraprofessional and Coach.
‘New Miami Local Schools has no further comment at this time.’
Butler County Prosecutor Mike Gmoser said: ‘It was discovered she was in a car with the [victim] and observed and it went from there.’

Gmoser added: ‘Every prosecutor that I have ever known, and in every state I have ever dealt with, takes cases involving teachers and students very seriously with respect to sexual conduct and contact.
‘We are dealing with impressionable young minds, and along comes an adult who takes advantage of them.
‘We take all felonies seriously but I think we add a little extra seriousness to these positions-of-trust type offenses.
‘Prosecutors can hold these people accountable to let them know we take this seriously.’
