<p>Former NFL cornerback Antonio Dennard was reportedly shot and killed near Reading, Pennsylvania, over the weekend. He was 32-years-old.<br>The Berks County Coroner&#8217;s Office pronounced Dennard dead at 3:15amEST on Sunday after he was rushed to a hospital in Reading with a gunshot wound. <br>The former professional football player was fatally shot over the weekend in the parking lot of a Muhlenberg Township motel, police said Monday.<br>Muhlenberg police said the shooting happened in the lot of Rodeway Inn, 2545 N. Fifth St. Highway.<br>His death has been ruled has been ruled a homicide.<br>The Chicago native played football at Langston University in Oklahoma, where he had 80 tackles and 8 interceptions during his career from 2008-2011.</p>

<p>He was signed as a cornerback to the practice squads in the 2012-14 seasons for three NFL teams, &#8211; Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, although he never played in a regular-season game. <br>He played cornerback during the 2015 season for the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League.</p>
