The shooting allegedly took place  in the parking lot of Rodeway Inn, 2545 N. Fifth St. Highway, in Muhlenberg near Reading, Pennsylvania

Dennard’s death has been ruled a homicide by the Berks County Coroner

Former NFL cornerback Antonio Dennard was reportedly shot and killed near Reading, Pennsylvania, over the weekend. He was 32-years-old.
The Berks County Coroner’s Office pronounced Dennard dead at 3:15amEST on Sunday after he was rushed to a hospital in Reading with a gunshot wound.
The former professional football player was fatally shot over the weekend in the parking lot of a Muhlenberg Township motel, police said Monday.
Muhlenberg police said the shooting happened in the lot of Rodeway Inn, 2545 N. Fifth St. Highway.
His death has been ruled has been ruled a homicide.
The Chicago native played football at Langston University in Oklahoma, where he had 80 tackles and 8 interceptions during his career from 2008-2011.

Dennard [photo]was signed as a cornerback to the practice squads in the 2012-14 seasons for three NFL teams, – Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, although he never played in a regular-season game.
