<p>Four siblings and their mothers were shot dead inside their Wisconsin apartment after their stepfather set it on fire and then turned the gun on himself. <br>Jessica McKisick, 33, and her daughters Sofina and Natalie Kleemeir, 12 and 14, and two unidentified three-year-old twin boys, were shot and killed by Connor McKisick, whom they lived with it. <br>The alleged killer Connor McKisick, the father of the boys and stepfather of the girls, had a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Hartland Police Chief Torin Misko said. <br>Their bodies were discovered early on Friday after firefighters were called to their burning apartment on Mansfield Court in Hartland around 5.15am. The other tenants in the four-unit building made it out safely. <br>Chief Misko said on Monday evening that all victims had single gunshot wound each &#8211; suggesting execution style killing. <br>He also said there was evidence of a liquid accelerant in the apartment. Police recovered multiple firearms from the residence.</p>

<p>Sofina and Natalie Kleemeir, their younger twin brothers and their mother were all killed inside the home before McKisick set up the arson and turned the gun himself.<br>&#8216;This is a tragic incident for the family of the deceased, for our first responders and for the Hartland community,&#8217; Misko said.<br>According to CBS 58, at least 15 fire departments and nine police departments were called to the scene for the blaze on Friday. Photos of the event shows a smoke-stain blackened roof with side paneling completely burned through, leaving a gaping hole on the side of the building. <br>The door to the apartment was charred black and bricks were seen crumbling from the side. <br>Apartment resident and single mother, Ardita Gashi, says her son Ariel, 13, heard an explosion &#8216;across the hall&#8217; and immediately ran to wake up his sisters Adela, 15, and Amina, eight. </p>

<p>&#8216;He rushed them out of the apartment through their back door and lead them by the parking lot to safety where he then called his mom, [who was at work],&#8217; a family friend revealed on <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/hartland-fire-surviors-single-mom-and-3-children?qid=https://bit.ly/3eZMM79" target="_blank">GoFundMe</a>. <br>&#8216;Everything they had was destroyed by the fire and smoke,&#8217; friend Fjolla Mustafa wrote. <br>Natalie&#8217;s school Arrowhead High School remembered the teenager, saying in a <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.wisn.com/article/police-6-dead-in-murder-suicide-discovered-after-fire/41759033#" target="_blank">statement </a>that she was a &#8216;caring person&#8217; who &#8216;always had a good-hearted personality for everyone.&#8217; <br>Natalie and Sofina&#8217;s relative, Samantha Maass, started a <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/sofina-and-natalie-kleemeier?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&;utm_medium=copy_link_all&;utm_source=customer" target="_blank">GoFundMe</a> to help cover the girls&#8217; funeral. <br>She wrote: &#8216;While my cousin Kyle mourns the loss of his children, I want to help raise money for the girl&#8217;s funeral. Anything will help, no matter how small or big your donation is.&#8217; Kyle Kleemeir is Natalie and Sofina&#8217;s biological father. </p>

Gabrielle Slowinski called her late friend &#8216;always kind, funny, and smart.&#8217; <br>&#8216;She was a freshman in high school and she had a very bright future ahead of her. She talked fondly of her family and loved them so much. She would always send me pictures/videos of her siblings showing me how cute they were.&#8217; </p>

<p>A former classmate of Jessica&#8217;s Cayla Anderson also shared her &#8216;heartbreak&#8217; on Facebook, writing: &#8216;Her and I went to St. Paul&#8217;s together since we were little up until 8th grade&#8230;I am so sad you and your beautiful babies are gone, but I know you are all in heaven together. Rest easy.&#8217; <br>A vigil was held for the family in Nixon Park on Friday, where roughly 20 people gathered to remember them. Friends of the two girls were said to be in attendance. <br>The other families in the Mansfield Court apartment building have been displaced, according to the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.jsonline.com/story/communities/lake-country/2022/10/24/hartland-fire-incident-found-to-be-shooting-murder-suicide/69588194007/" target="_blank">Milwaukee Journal Sentinel</a>, and village administrators are collecting gift cards for food and clothing to help them. <br></p>
