allowing the gangs to overbill insurance companies and make off with &dollar;100million in profits over 13 years&period;<br>Moy&&num;8217&semi;s role in the scam saw him &&num;8216&semi;conduct unnecessary and painful electrodiagnostic testing&&num;8217&semi; &&num;8211&semi; tests that measure the speed and strength at which electrical impulses travel within and between nerves and muscles &&num;8211&semi; on a slew of car accident patients who did not need to undergo the procedure&comma; the indictment alleged&period; <br>Prosecutors said the fraud ring was headed by Bradley Pierre&comma; and allegedly took &dollar;70 million from no-fault insurers in a scam dating back to 2008&period; <br>Pierre allegedly spearheaded the scheme out of the law office of an unidentified family member&comma; who paid &dollar;4 million for accident-victim referrals&period; According to the indictment&comma; Pierre controlled five &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;no-fault facilities” that were owned by licensed physicians&period;<br>Pierre installed closed-circuit television cameras in his office&comma; which he used to communicate with Dr&period; William Weiner&comma; a doctor of osteopathic medicine and Dr&period; Marvin Moy&comma; who allegedly conducted &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;unnecessary and painful” electrodiagnostic testing on patients&period;<br>The indictments also listed Arthur Bogoraz&comma; a paralegal and manager at a New York City injury law firm&comma; Andrew Prime&comma; who is described as a &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;runner” who allegedly paid bribes to 911 operators for patient and client referrals&comma; Alexander Gulkarov&comma; who it alleges fraudulently owns and controls more than a dozen medical professional organizations&comma; and attorney Robert Wisnicki&comma; the founding partner of two New York-based law firms who is accused of laundering part of the proceeds&period;<br>Additionally&comma; Roman Israilov&comma; Peter Khamiov and Anthony DiPietro are accused of working with Gulkarov to operate the scheme by bribing 911 operators&comma; hospital workers and others for motor vehicle accident victim information&period; and was facing a maximum potential prison sentence of 30 years for his role in Pierre&&num;8217&semi;s scheme&period;<br>In January&comma; US Attorney Damian Williams described the operation as &&num;8216&semi;one of the largest insurance frauds in history&&num;8217&semi; and outlined the methods used by the conspirators to make their fortune&period;<br>&&num;8216&semi;The defendants charged are alleged to have collectively perpetrated one of the largest no-fault insurance frauds in history&period; In carrying out their massive scheme&comma; among other methods&comma; they allegedly bribed 911 operators&comma; hospital employees&comma; and others for confidential motor vehicle accident victim information&period; <br>&&num;8216&semi;With this information&comma;
