while seven others gang members were charged with drug-related crimes&comma; according to the federal Public Safety Department&period; The 14-year-old gunman&&num;8217&semi;s real name was not released&period;<br>The family were reportedly celebrating a birthday party at the time of the savage attack&comma; it is not uncommon for drug gangs to in turf wars&comma; killing rivals encroaching on their territory or as a means of settling outstanding debt&period;<br>Unfortunately&comma; Mexico is no stranger to child killers and this is not the first case of a young boy getting arrested for committing heinous crimes&period;<br>In 2010&comma; soldiers similarly detained a 14-year-old boy nicknamed &&num;8216&semi;El Ponchis&&num;8217&semi; who claimed he was kidnapped at age 11 and forced to work for the Cartel of the South Pacific&comma; never&comma;&&num;8221&semi; he said&period;<br>Also Thursday&comma; prosecutors in the northern border state of Sonora said they had arrested a woman linked to as many as nine murders in the border city of Mexicali&period;<br>The state prosecutors&&num;8217&semi; office said that the woman had outstanding warrants for two killings&comma; but that she had been named in seven other homicide investigations&period; The office did not say what the possible motives might be in those killings&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
