23&comma; of Evesham&comma; New Jersey&comma; is also charged wit&comma; two counts of third-degree aggravated assault on a police officer&comma; two counts of third-degree eluding&comma; as well as four counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree injuring of a police canine&period;<br>His wife&comma; Ruth Patton&comma; 42&comma; who was also in the car&comma; was charged with third-degree terroristic threats and fourth-degree obstruction of justice after threatening to kill police officers&period;<br>According to the Evesham police report&comma; officers were tending to a motor vehicle crash at about 1 a&period;m&period; on Sunday when a white Hyundai sedan was heading toward them at an estimated speed of 80 mph in a 45 mph-zone&period;<br>The vehicle appeared to accelerate as it passed the crash scene&period; Officers who were investigating the crash&comma; raised a bolo with a description of the vehicle&comma; but when an officer attempted a traffic stop near an intersection the driver sped through the red light&period;<br>Officers recognized the vehicle and the suspect from previous encounters&comma; Patton got out of the vehicle and officers moved their vehicles behind his vehicle as he remained inside&period;<br>He ignored the order to step out of the vehicle&comma; instead he engaged reverse&period; Ferraiolo hit a police vehicle with a K9 unit inside&comma; then drove toward the two officers who nearly got hit as he backed out of the driveway at high speed&period;<br>Driving across his neighbor&&num;8217&semi;s lawns Ferraiolo allegedly&comma; rammed the K9 vehicle three more times purposely before attempting to leave the scene again&period;<br>The driver also struck two more police cruisers&comma; continuing his flight until his Hyundai was disabled&period;<br>Cops closed in pulled him out before he could exit the vehicle&period; He was given medical attention at the scene before being transported to the hospital for evaluation&period;<br>According to the report&comma; Patton attempted to interfere with officers removing her husband from the disabled car&comma; threatening she would &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;kill&&num;8221&semi; the arresting officers&period; She was also placed in custody&period;<br>The injured officers were treated at the scene&period; The police K9 is being treated by a veterinarian&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;
