<p>A father, mother, and two children have died from an apparent murder-suicide just three weeks after losing their toddler daughter to a drowning accident at their Allen, TX home on Monday, August 28. <br>The father Farman Sherwani who was a Machinery Mechanic and his wife Layla Sherwani, and their two children identified as 12-year-old Shaheen Sherwani and 2-year-old Mateen Sherwani were found dead with a gunshot wound.<br>Law enforcement agencies determined that the incident was a murder-suicide. According to reports, the family of four was confirmed dead inside their home located in the area of Aberdeen Drive, near Exchange in Allen, a city about 30 miles north of Dallas, police said in a statement<br>The family of four were all found dead in a Texas home in what investigators say is an apparent murder-suicide, after they lost their four-year-old daughter in a swimming pool accident, just a few weeks ago. <br>Police in Allen, Texas, say they discovered the remains during a welfare check called in by a resident of the home locked out of the house and and unsuccessfully trying to get someone to answer the door, decided to phone the police. <br>Police investigations believe the fatalities to be a possible murder-suicide.<br>The Islamic Association of Allen, which initially identified the four family members, also said the family&#8217;s 4-year-old daughter drowned three weeks ago in a swimming pool.<br>While the specifics of that incident are not clear, police say the drowning was a factor in Monday&#8217;s murder-suicide. Allen detectives think the girl&#8217;s drowning &#8220;is believed to be a factor.&#8221;</p>

<p>The Islamic Association of Allen confirmed that the family members were part of the local Muslim community.<br>Imam Abdul Rahman Bashir, the religious director for the Islamic Association of Allen, told <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/four-people-found-dead-in-allen-home/3326044/" target="_blank">NBC</a>: &#8216;Waking up to the news of losing a four member family all of a sudden is not something that anyone can be prepared for, family members or let alone anyone in the community, so it&#8217;s been a very heavy day for everyone in the community&#8217;<br>Bashir says the family was already going through a rough situation with the drowning of their daughter.<br>He continued: &#8216;In this type of situation, it&#8217;s not easy for any family. In spite of having many family members here, they were really broken.&#8217;<br>&#8216;We are all shocked and saddened by this news. I ask that you please keep the family and loved ones in your thoughts over the coming days and months.&#8217;<br><br></p>
