<p>An Alabama deputy killed his colleague-girlfriend before shooting himself when the the couple&#8217;s 2.45 AM argument during their beach getaway escalated.<br>Dep. Kenneth &#8216;Kenny&#8217; Booth Jr and his girlfriend Alexis &#8216;Lexi&#8217; White, 23, were on a trip to Orange Beach when the Cullman County Deputy shot his girlfriend multiple times and then took his own life on Thursday.<br>The incident that took place in a common area at the Seaside Beach and Racquet Club has been described by authorities to be an apparent &#8216;murder-suicide&#8217;. <br>According to a Facebook post issued by the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, the pair who were romantically involved were in the middle of a row that escalated to the point where Booth drew a weapon and killed White before turning the gun on himself.</p>

<p>The Cullman County Sheriff&#8217;s Office is &#8216;devastated&#8217; and shaken to its &#8216;very core&#8217; after learning about the deaths of two of their employees, their post said.<br>Booth&#8217;s mother Adrean Miller Booth also posted a reference to the tragedy on Facebook. <br>Making no mention of the woman her son had just killed, she crafted a tribute to her dead son saying Booth was &#8216;welcomed into heaven&#8217;. <br>She said her heart is &#8216;forever broken&#8217; by the death of her son, adding &#8216;Please know there are a LOT of false and untrue statements being said and the truth will come out.&#8217;<br>&#8216;I will release a statement at a later time when it is appropriate but today is not that day.&#8217; </p>

You truly must be delusional #JusticeforAlexisWhite&#8217; <br>Another commented: &#8216;Gurrlll. what about the mom that had her daughter killed&#8217;<br>Ashley Nichole left a comment that asked &#8216;nothing about the young lady he killed?&#8217; after Booth&#8217;s mother didn&#8217;t mention her son&#8217;s deceased girlfriend in the tribute post. </p>

<p class="has-small-font-size"><strong>The police department released a statement about White&#8217;s death as she was a beloved member of the Cullman County Sheriff Office where she had worked since she was 16 </strong></p>



<p>White had worked at the office since she was 16 and was adored by the community. <br>Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry said: &#8216;There are not enough words to express what she and her family mean to me. I am literally heartbroken. I feel like Lexi is one of my own kids.&#8217;<br>Gentry said: &#8216;She was a charter member in our Youth Leadership Academy, and was involved in every one after that – either as a participant, or coach,&#8217;<br>White got a degree in criminal justice at Wallace State Community College before she began working as a dispatcher at Cullman County Sheriff&#8217;s Office. <br>White&#8217;s friend Hope Cochran was &#8216;lost for words&#8217; when she discovered that the 23-year-old had been shot multiple times and killed. </p>

<p>She said: &#8216;I’m so grateful I had the privilege to play softball with Lexi growing up. It never seems right when a life is taken too young,&#8217;. Cochran posted online asking all to pray for White&#8217;s family. <br>The news of the beloved dispatcher&#8217;s death is even more tragic for her family because her brother Tarrant Jordan White died just three years earlier at the age of 25.<br>Her funeral is set to be on Tuesday September 12 in Cullman, Alabama. </p>
