<p>Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Charles Jones, known as Jacksonville, Florida, rapper Julio Foolio. Two other suspects remain at large, police said<br>Foolio, 26,m was shot and killed while in a car in the parking lot of a Tampa hotel during an ambush, shortly after the 26-year-old had celebrated his birthday in the early morning June 23. Three others were injured in the incident. <br>Police arrested the trio of Alicia Andrews, 21, Isaiah Chance Jr, 21, and Sean Gathright, 18, on first-degree premeditated murder charges, as part of of a group of individuals who traveled from Tampa to Jacksonville for the &#8216;sole purpose of committing a heinous crime&#8217; police said. <br>Cops are currently searching for two more suspects, Rashad Murphy, 30, and Davion Murphy, 27, in connection with the shooting. <br>The suspects including both Murphys are charged with first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder. </p>

<p>On the day of Jones&#8217; slaying, Chance and Andrews tracked down and followed him and his entourage to two separate locations, police said. <br>At each location, they got out of their vehicle, and Chance used a cell phone. After using the phone, a second suspect vehicle arrived at each location, police said. Both vehicles then followed Jones to the hotel, according to police.<br>Meanwhile who Jones who had 1 million followers on the platform, was celebrating his birthday that night of his fatal shooting, according to footage he posted on his Instagram story. He, shared a video advertising a pool party Saturday evening. <br>He told his followers to direct-message him for the address.<br>Later that night, he posted that police had “shut us down and kicked us out” of their Airbnb.<br>The slaying was fueled by an ongoing feud between rival gangs, according to a statement from <a href="https://mailchi.mp/cc0e3c721f89/three-arrested-two-wanted-in-connection-with-the-murder-of-charles-jones-aka-julio-foolio" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tampa police</a>. </p>

<p>All five suspects traveled from Jacksonville to Tampa on June 22, 2024, in two separate vehicles to locate and kill Jones in retaliation for an ongoing Jacksonville rival gang feud. <br>According to records of the Jacksonville police, Jones is a “6 Block” gang member in Jacksonville. <br>Chance is an ATK member, Rashad Murphy is a 1200 member, and Davion Murphy is a 1200 associate, police said.<br>The shooters were identified by Tampa police as Rashad Murphy, Sean Gathright and Davion Murphy.<br>Announcing the arrests on social media Monday, the <a href="https://x.com/JSOPIO/status/1817969094966100362" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jacksonville Sheriff&#8217;s Office</a> said Alicia Andrews and Isaiah Chance Jr, are charged with premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm, and conspiracy to commit premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm, according to police.<br>Sean Gathright is charged with two counts of premeditated murder with a firearm, three counts of attempted premeditated murder in the first degree with a firearm and tampering with physical evidence, police said.<br>“They are currently in the Duval County Pre-Trial Detention Center on murder charges, pending transfer to Tampa,” the sheriff’s office said.</p>

<p>State Attorney Susan Lopez in a Monday afternoon press conference said: “All five of these defendants are facing life in the Florida State Prison, even the ones who didn’t pull the trigger. In Florida, if you participate in the planning of a murder, you can be held accountable for the person’s death, and that is what we intend to do here.”<br>The suspects currently are in the Duval County Pre-Trial Detention Center on murder charges, pending transfer to Tampa.<br>Tampa Police Department and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office urge anyone that could assist with the location of Rashad Murphy and Davion Murphy to provide that information to investigators.</p>
