Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Charles Jones, known as Jacksonville, Florida, rapper Julio Foolio. Two other suspects remain at large, police said
Foolio, 26,m was shot and killed while in a car in the parking lot of a Tampa hotel during an ambush, shortly after the 26-year-old had celebrated his birthday in the early morning June 23. Three others were injured in the incident.
Police arrested the trio of Alicia Andrews, 21, Isaiah Chance Jr, 21, and Sean Gathright, 18, on first-degree premeditated murder charges, as part of of a group of individuals who traveled from Tampa to Jacksonville for the ‘sole purpose of committing a heinous crime’ police said.
Cops are currently searching for two more suspects, Rashad Murphy, 30, and Davion Murphy, 27, in connection with the shooting.
The suspects including both Murphys are charged with first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.

On the day of Jones’ slaying, Chance and Andrews tracked down and followed him and his entourage to two separate locations, police said.
At each location, they got out of their vehicle, and Chance used a cell phone. After using the phone, a second suspect vehicle arrived at each location, police said. Both vehicles then followed Jones to the hotel, according to police.
Meanwhile who Jones who had 1 million followers on the platform, was celebrating his birthday that night of his fatal shooting, according to footage he posted on his Instagram story. He, shared a video advertising a pool party Saturday evening.
He told his followers to direct-message him for the address.
Later that night, he posted that police had “shut us down and kicked us out” of their Airbnb.

All five suspects traveled from Jacksonville to Tampa on June 22, 2024, in two separate vehicles to locate and kill Jones in retaliation for an ongoing Jacksonville rival gang feud.
According to records of the Jacksonville police, Jones is a “6 Block” gang member in Jacksonville.
Chance is an ATK member, Rashad Murphy is a 1200 member, and Davion Murphy is a 1200 associate, police said.
The shooters were identified by Tampa police as Rashad Murphy, Sean Gathright and Davion Murphy.
Announcing the arrests on social media Monday, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Alicia Andrews and Isaiah Chance Jr, are charged with premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm, and conspiracy to commit premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm, according to police.
Sean Gathright is charged with two counts of premeditated murder with a firearm, three counts of attempted premeditated murder in the first degree with a firearm and tampering with physical evidence, police said.
“They are currently in the Duval County Pre-Trial Detention Center on murder charges, pending transfer to Tampa,” the sheriff’s office said.

State Attorney Susan Lopez in a Monday afternoon press conference said: “All five of these defendants are facing life in the Florida State Prison, even the ones who didn’t pull the trigger. In Florida, if you participate in the planning of a murder, you can be held accountable for the person’s death, and that is what we intend to do here.”
The suspects currently are in the Duval County Pre-Trial Detention Center on murder charges, pending transfer to Tampa.
Tampa Police Department and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office urge anyone that could assist with the location of Rashad Murphy and Davion Murphy to provide that information to investigators.
