Mica Miller [right], committed suicide in April. Her death drew national attention as scrutiny fell on the behavior of her husband, Pastor John-Paul Miller, [left], in the weeks after her death.
Glamorous pastor’s wife Mica Miller, [photo], was found dead in April. Authorities in Robeson County ruled that she died by suicide, but her husband has since remained under a cloud of suspicion

When Mica Miller was found at Lumber River State Park in Orrum on April 27, she was alone in her Honda Accord.
Robeson County E911 received a call just before 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 from a woman who inquired if her phone could be located because she was going to kill herself and wanted her family to be able to find her body.
She Purchased the weapon that killed her from a pawn shop days earlier. Deputies also discovered a handgun in the water, and the serial number on the gun matched the gun box that was found in her car.
It was also established that Mica and her estranged husband, John Paul Miller, had been separated at the time.
Investigators confirmed that John Paul Miller, who allegedly was involved with another woman, was at an athletic event in Charleston on the day. His car was seen on Highway 17 Bypass at 2:22 p.m. on the day of Miller’s death and there was someone else in the car with him.
However, Mica ’s death gained national attention due to allegations surrounding her marriage to John-Paul Miller. At that time, Miller was the pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach.
Miller, 45, was arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree assault and battery. The arrest was unrelated to the raid on his home on Friday, reports WMBF.
Appearing in court for his hearing on Thursday morning, the judge set bond at $776.

On Nov 1, FBI agents conducted a raid on the Myrtle Beach home of pastor John-Paul Miller linked to an investigation into the apparent suicide of his Wife Mica Miller

A witness captured footage of the incident, showing a woman chasing John-Paul in a parking lot and harassing him.
The woman is believed to be a ‘Justice for Mica’ protestor, alleging the pastor was involved in his wife Mica Miller’s death in April.
John-Paul Miller was initially seen running away from Sandra Karon, as she screamed at him. He then turns back and confronts her, shouting back: ‘What did you say? You walked right up to me.’
Karon told WMBF that Miller squared up to her and tapped her on her hat with his phone, resulting in the assault charges.
Miller has been the subject of protests since April, when his wife, Mica Miller, took her own life. His next court appearance is scheduled for December 10.

Footage of the incident showed a ‘Justice for Mica’ protestor clash with John-Paul outside his church, and his assault charges resulted from him tapping her hat with his phone

John-Paul previously raised eyebrows when he delivered a bizarre sermon after his wife’s apparent suicide in April, which triggered a wave of allegations of ‘abuse’ in their marriage and his ‘sexual encounters’ with underage girls.
Police have not indicated that they believe John-Paul was involved in his wife’s death.
The assault and battery charges are reportedly unrelated to an FBI raid on his home on Friday, the nature of which is still a mystery.
Neighbors said at the time they’d been told agents were there to execute a search warrant, with Miller not believed to be at home when law enforcement arrived.

Justice for Mica protester Sandra Karon [right], was seen on footage harassing John-Paul Miller outside his church on Wednesday – She’s seen goading the pastor into the clash that led to his arrest

Miller’s antagonist Sandra Karon said her clash with Miller on Wednesday began when she and other locals went to Miller’s church, the Market Common Church, after hearing rumors it was being emptied of its contents.
Believing the emptying of the church to be related to the FBI raid, Karon said she then saw Miller at the church, leading her to chase after him. She also admitted to calling him a number of expletives.
