<p>Police investigating the murder of a UK woman found dead in a car boot have shared more CCTV in the manhunt for her &#8220;killer&#8221; husband.<br>The body of Harshita Brella, 24, was found on Thursday in the trunk of a silver Vauxhall in Ilford, East London &#8211; nearly 100 miles from her home in Corby, Northamptonshire. <br>Speaking after the tragedy from their home in Delhi, India, her heartbroken family revealed that she ‘didn’t lead a happy life’ as her father demanded ‘justice’ for his daughter.</p>

<p>Police on Sunday said her husband Pankaj Lamba, 23, who they believed was responsible for the killing had since fled the country.<br>The fresh CCTV footage, released Tuesday afternoon, show Lamba and a silver Vauxhall car.<br>Officers had previously carried out a welfare check at the couple&#8217;s home on November 13, after receiving a call expressing concern for Harshita&#8217;s welfare.<br>After the grim discovery in London the following morning, a forensic postmortem examination carried out at Leicester Royal Infirmary announced preliminary cause of death as strangulation.</p>

<p>Police suspect Lamba killed Harshita in their home county of Northamptonshire before driving her body to London by car.<br>Harshita Brella had been under the protection of a court order designed for victims of domestic abuse.<br>A neighbor said they had heard &#8220;a lot of shouting and banging around&#8221; at the HMO where Harshita lived in Corby. The neighbors told <a href="https://news.sky.com/story/harshita-brella-international-manhunt-under-way-for-husband-after-womans-body-found-in-car-boot-13255686" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sky News</a>: &#8220;We heard a male or female arguing and raised voices &#8211; furniture being thrown.<br>&#8220;She seems like a lovely young woman. It&#8217;s a shame to lose a lovely girl.&#8221;<br>Neighbor Kelly Philp said she also heard two rows including one on Wednesday involving a woman who &#8220;sounded scared&#8221;.<br> &#8220;It sounded angry and there were raised voices and the woman sounded scared&#8221;.</p>

<p>Detectives believe Harshita was murdered in Corby on the evening of Sunday by her husband.<br>They suspect, Pankai Lamba, then transported Harshita’s body from Corby to Ilford by car.<br>The vehicle was left parked in Brisbane Road, Ilford, and detectives believe Lamba then fled the country.<br>Detectives have been piecing together hours of CCTV footage in the Corby and Ilford area to track the movements of the suspect.<br>They have released new images in the hope they will be a prompt to anyone who may have interacted with Lamba at any time between Sunday morning, and Monday evening, and encourage them to contact police.<br>Speaking today, Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell from the East Midlands Special Operations Major Crime Unit, said: “Our inquiries have established that Pankaj Lamba drove a Silver Vauxhall Corsa from Corby to Ilford sometime on the morning of Monday, November 11.<br>&#8220;We suspect Harshita’s body had been placed in the boot, [trunk], of the vehicle by Lamba before leaving Corby.<br>&#8220;Lamba then abandoned the vehicle in Brisbane Road, Ilford and made his getaway.</p>

She&#8217;d been excited moving to London, only to be living an unhappy life in her marriage after finding herself in an extremely abusive relationship, her family revealed demanding justice</strong></p>



<p>“We are continuing to appeal for information and I would urge anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or had any sightings of Pankaj Lamba in Corby, Ilford or elsewhere in the days leading up to the discovery of Harshita’s body, to contact police as soon as possible.”<br>Sonia Dabas described how her sister was &#8220;very excited&#8221; to move to the UK in April following an arranged marriage with Lamba. Now the heartbroken family revealed their daughter &#8220;didn&#8217;t lead a happy life&#8221; in the UK.<br>Her father Satbir Brella demanded &#8220;justice&#8221; for his daughter from the family home in Delhi, India.</p>
