<p>A California model is headed to trial over accusations of seducing wealthy older men on dating apps, posing as their girlfriend and robbing them to fund her lavish lifestyle.<br>Adva Lavie, 28, of Los Angeles, allegedly targeted rich men on the internet, posing as a &#8216;girlfriend or companion,&#8217; before arriving in a Porsche and burglarizing their homes.<br>Israeli born Lavie is accused of &#8216;posing as a girlfriend and travel companion to gain access to victims’ homes and then stealing cash, gold and high-end designer items.&#8217; <br>At least five victims are tied to the alleged scheme, with more than 10 others coming forward in recent months. Authorities say it could stretch beyond state lines and even into international waters. <br>On Monday, a judge in Los Angeles court ensured that the adult entertainer who operates under the pseudonym, international model&#8217;, would have to answer for a total of<a href="https://da.lacounty.gov/media/news/influencer-accused-using-dating-apps-target-victims-held-answer-six-felony-charges"> six felony counts</a>, ruling that there was enough evidence to justify a full criminal trial. </p>

Hochman stated on Wednesday.<br>&#8216;At her trial, we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant exploited trust built through online relationships to gain access to victims’ homes and steal from them,&#8217; the DA added.</p>

Lingerie model Amber Karis Bassick said she thought she was accepting an innocent invitation when Lavie offered her a trip to Ibiza for a so-called content-creation getaway. <br>&#8216;I thought that was really nice of her and sweet, and it&#8217;d be a lot of fun,&#8217; she said. <br>Bassick, believing Lavie to be financially stable and well-connected, was stunned when she arrived in Spain to find the hotel room unpaid, leaving her to foot the bill.<br>The guest invited to the soiree was later pressured to cover additional expenses after Lavie claimed her credit card wasn’t working.</p>

<p>What followed, she said, was a disturbing pattern: Lavie allegedly stayed out all night for several days in a row, persuading men to pay for food, transportation and other costs, and when they weren’t looking, would snap photos of their credit cards. <br>Bassick said she became more and more uncomfortable as Lavie appeared fixated on milking cash and personal information from the men they met. <br>&#8216;I thought this trip was a girl&#8217;s trip to make content, but for [Lavie,] the whole trip was just to use me to attract her next victims,&#8217; Bassick said. &#8216;All she wanted to do was hunt for rich older men.&#8217; <br>She said she ultimately decided to leave the hotel, worried for her safety and disturbed by Lavie’s behavior. <br>&#8216;She doesn&#8217;t eat anything. She runs on zero sleep. I don&#8217;t know how she exists. It&#8217;s scary to me,&#8217; Bassick said.</p>

<p>Other claims surfaced publicly after Lavie appeared on the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qzlNJYCnsg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Access Vegas podcast</a> in November, where she spoke confidently on cryptocurrency, geopolitics and US politics.<br>At one point, she said: &#8216;Having a strong masculine leader to the United States is so important, because a lot of countries are watching the US.&#8217;<br>&#8216;We are the most important country in the world and everybody knows that,&#8217; she added. &#8216;I&#8217;m so lucky to be living in this country.&#8217;<br>Podcast host Michael Sartain <a href="https://ktla.com/news/local-news/onlyfans-model-adva-lavie-mia-ventura-burglary-charges/">later revealed </a>that during the recording Lavie left her microphone twice, disappearing from the studio for extended periods during filming. <br>After the episode, several guests discovered credit cards and cash were missing from their belongings. <br>According to Sartain during a special election night episode of his show, Lavie allegedly went into the greenroom and stole credit cards and cash from the purses of several female panelists.<br>“She got up at the 45-minute mark, and she was gone for 45 minutes and just went through everyone’s bag,” Sartain said.</p>

<p>One of the guests, Eden Lynn, <a href="https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-12-22/glamorous-l-a-model-targeted-rich-old-men-police-say" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">said</a> two of her credit cards and $400 in cash were gone. Weeks later Lynn said, she noticed unauthorized charges on her American Express card from a Beverly Hills hair salon. When she contacted the salon, she was told the appointment had been made under the name &#8216;Mia Ventura.&#8217;<br>The salon later provided screenshots from a FaceTime consultation that Lynn said showed Lavie. <br>Lynn canceled her credit cards but did not report the incident to police. </p>
