A love rat hubby got his own back on a woman he had an affair with by uploading a steamy 20 minute video of them having sex to Facebook.</span></span></p>
<p>Ashish Thamman was living with his pregnant wife at the woman&#8217;s house when the cheating began. But when his mistress ditched him, Thamman began a campaign of a harassment. Over three days he bombarded her with 200 calls and 50 text messages, Birmingham magistrates were told. It culminated in the internet posting of the sex tape, of which the victim said she had been unaware. “It would appear that for a period of time, despite being married, the defendant had a sexual relationship with the complainant,” said Victoria Luke, prosecuting.<br />

“It would appear that for a period of time, despite being married, the defendant had a sexual relationship with the complainant,” said Victoria Luke, prosecuting. “Things turned sour and the woman no longer wanted a relationship with this defendant but he felt quite differently about that.<br />
<span style="color:#999999;"><span style="font-size:large;"><i>“She received at least 200 calls and 50 text messages, threatening to reveal a tape of him having sexual relations with her. “She had no idea that a video had ever been made. He threatened that he would show this to her family and cause her shame.”</i></span></span></p>
<p>The victim moved to London to get away from what was happening but still continued to receive calls and texts, asking her to come back to the Midlands.</p>
<p>“Matters came to a head on September 30,” said Miss Luke. “The complainant was contacted by her cousin who stated that a Facebook account had been activated in the victim’s mother’s name and on that account had been posted a video of the defendant and the complainant having sexual intercourse.”</p>
<p>The video had been viewed by members of the victim’s family causing her “distress and embarrassment”. There had also been comments added by family members.</p>
<p>She said the woman had been left feeling “scared and blackmailed” and that she felt she was at the mercy of the defendant. “It is a huge betrayal of someone’s privacy,” she said. They also made an indefinite restraining order banning him from contacting the woman, and ordered him to pay £185 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.</p>
<p>Sukhdip Randawa, defending, said Thamman had come from India to the UK with his wife and stayed in rented premises with the complainant. He said he had the affair when his wife was pregnant before matters came out into the open. He believed the woman was going to claim that she had been raped by him and had posted the video as a form of “self-preservation.”</p>
