<p>A shooting and resulting crash on westbound Highway 4 in Pittsburg, California left one woman dead and a man injured.<br />
Two people that were in a vehicle that was allegedly shot at were transported to the hospital, where a female was pronounced dead and a male is expected to survive.</p>

Both occupants were suffering from injuries as a result of the collision and gunshot wounds, police say.<br />
It is unclear whether the woman died from a gunshot wound or from other injuries sustained in the crash.<br />
The victims were shot by a suspect in another vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 4 and police say it appears to have been a targeted shooting.</section>

Railroad shut down while police investigate reports of shots fired prior to injury accident</h6>

The incidents leading up to the shooting are currently under investigation.</p>
