Dayonte Resiles, 22, awaits trial for the 2014 murder of Halliburton heiress Jill Halliburton Su during a home invasion robbery

Resiles, escaped the Broward County, Fl courthouse July 15, after leaving behind his handcuffs and jumpsuit, he was captured 6 days later

7 people including his girlfriend, 18-year-old girlfriend Laquay Stern, another inmate and 3 friends present in court on the day were arrested for helping hatch and execute the escape plan

He’s facing the death sentence for killing Jill Halliburton Su, during the home robbery attempt

The bag man and  get-away driver: Winston Russell Jr and Resiles’ girlfriend, Laquay Dionta Stern, were picked up by police as alleged accomplices to a Broward inmate’s escape from the courthouse.
“Safe to say now, I have received enough attention and people will believe in my innocence,” he said, without commenting further on the evidence he claimed he was looking for.
Resiles faces murder charges for the 2014 slaying of Jill Halliburton Su. Officials said the suspect broke into her Davie home, stabbed her to death and then robbed the house.
If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
