Prosecutors didn’t press charges against her alleged assailants because wasn’t enough evidence to provide a “realistic prospect of conviction”

Now 17, Tia has just suffered an even more brutal attack, the second in a year

She suffered a broken nose and possible damage to her eye socket in the attack, may require further hospital treatment

Recent battering occurred a year after learning charges would not be pressed over a previous beating, in which she suffered a black eye, cuts and swollen lip

The question is why is there a reluctance to bring these bullies to book?  Why are the identities of the youth and two women involved in this saga shrouded while the victim is out there?
The fact is most people are not convinced this teen mom is self-inflicting these terrible, life altering injuries.  In the case she is self-mutilating, are the authorities in Wales providing therapy? If not, what steps are being taken to to remove her from this harmful circumstance

Tia’s injuries after the latest attack

Tia Jade Edwards posted this shocking image of the stomach churning injuries she sustained after she was beaten up,  for the second time in a year.
Edwards, 17, suffered a broken nose and possible damage to her eye socket in the attack, almost exactly a year after she learned no-one would be prosecuted over a previous beating, in which she suffered a black eye, cuts and swollen lips. In the first incidence,
North Wales Police had questioned two women, both aged 37, and a youth in relation to the previous incident but the Crown Prosecution Service said there was insufficient evidence to secure a conviction .

Shocking pictures of Jade’s injuries sparked a furious reaction from hundreds of readers calling for justice for Tia. Her guardian fumed “The evidence is all over Facebook, yet they told me they couldn’t use any of the evidence on Facebook.”
“If someone gets away with this they can do it again.”
Recalling the latest incident, a family member said Tia was in a “terrible state” when police were called to an address in Colwyn Bay after this Friday’s alleged attack, which is believed to have taken place before 10pm.
The relative said Tia, who is said to be extremely upset and at home recovering with relatives, could require further hospital treatment.
