<p class="mol-para-with-font">Einspahr, 28, was accused of taking two children she was babysitting to a bank robbery was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday after she pleaded guilty to three charges in two separate cases.<br />
Rachel Einspahr, 29, pled guilty to theft, forgery, and attempted robbery.<br />
According to <a class="" href="http://www.denverpost.com/2017/02/10/babysitter-bank-robber-gets-6-years/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">The Denver Post</a>, she was also facing 31 charges from another alleged crime &#8211; skimming money &#8216;off the top&#8217; while she was managing a local business.<br />
Einspahr&#8217;s attorney, Michael Williams, said that the litany of embezzlement charges that his client was facing convinced her to eventually accept a plea bargain.<br />
Prosecutors allege that Einspahr stole approximately $32,000 from a small business in which she worked .<br />
If Einspahr weren&#8217;t facing the other theft charges, she would have pleaded not guilty, according to her attorney: “I think she’s overly charged in that case,” he said. “We don’t believe the people could’ve met that burden, but since she’s charged with three pages of counts in the other case she’s agreed to take the six years.<br />
He said if Einspahr merely faced charges in the robbery case, she probably would not have pleaded guilty.</p>

<p>Einspahr admitted to the bank robbery and told police she needed the money to pay restitution in another theft case in which she has around 30 charges.<br />
&#8216;To expose children to that type of activity when they’re in your care is a breach of trust,&#8217; said Kathryn Wilson, one of the prosecutors in the case.<br />
Weld District Court Judge Timothy Kerns said he felt the plea agreement was fair. He sentenced Einspahr to six years in prison for theft, three years for forgery and three years for attempted robbery. Since he ruled the sentences will run concurrently, she faces a total of six years in prison.</p>
