Cops have found unharmed a 6-year-old girl abducted by her father in the early hours, Friday after he allegedly stabbed the child’s mother to death in Connecticut, triggering an Amber alert, officials said.
The alert was called off after Pennsylvania police stopped 39-year-old Oscar Hernandez’s rented 2017 silver Hyundai Sonata on highway I-99 near Penn State in Pennsylvania. The subject of the amber Alert was safe inside and her dad was taken into custody.
Little Aylin has been missing since 2:45 a.m., after cops were called to the family’s home in Bridgeport. Aylin’s mother was found dead at the home, officials said.
First responders also found a critically wounded second woman who had been stabbed 14 times, officials said. Paramedics rushed the woman to an area hospital.

Cops initially tracked Hernandez 53 miles away from Bridgeport to the Bronx, NY, after Hernandez was spotted in the area, police sources said.
Cops pinged Hernandez’s phone there and say he had family in the area.
Police responded to a home around 3 a.m. in Bridgeport, Ct., where they found two people stabbed, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.
Bridgeport Police Chief Armando said that Aylin’s mother died and another woman was injured in the attack, which occurred when the two came home and an argument ensued.

There had been no previous calls to the home, but Hernandez had a restraining order in place as a result of an assault on another woman.
Hernandez fled the Greenwood Street home following the stabbing, police said. Police are investigating the incident as an alcohol-related domestic incident.
