Autopsy results from the medical examiner’s office determined that Ellis, who has a five-year-old son,  died of “complications from forcible administration of a caustic substance.” The incident was ruled a homicide.

Hebron told the paper he saw his grandson nearly every day, and last saw him Sunday night. He got the horrific phone call about Ellis’ death just hours later.
