Accused bank robber Byers also made a living posing naked for photoshoots

Leading fitness photographer Michael Stokes describes Byers who is part-owner of a gym, as having worked as a model and personal trainer.
Stokes said the model texted him Tuesday, stating that he was moving to New York to live with his girlfriend: “He said life was good and he was happy and that things had changed,” Stokes said.
Stokes also said he was “completely shocked” when he first heard of Byers’ arrest. “When we do photoshoots we play up the badboy element, that’s the appeal, but I guess inside a lot of these models there is a real bad boy. But it surprises me with David, because he had a good upbringing,” Stokes said.
