The former substitute teacher in Oklahoma is accused of exposing herself to students when she did a cartwheel while wearing a long skirt but no underwear. Sponsler pled guilty Monday, to assault after the charge was reduced from indecent exposure.<br />

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Defense attorney Nathan Milner told <a class="" href="http://ktul.com/news/local/former-pawhuska-sub-pleads-guilty-to-felony-assault-in-flashing-case" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">KTUL</a> that Sponsler believes the incident was &#8216;blown out of proportion&#8217; and is glad the case is over, but the video recorded by the student tells a different story.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Sponsler was charged in February after allegedly performing a cartwheel in which she exposed herself during a high school choir class January 31 in Pawhuska, about 100 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.<br />
The 34-year-old educator was wearing a long dress at the time of the incident, but she didn&#8217;t have on undergarments, causing her &#8216;to expose herself to the students in the class&#8217;.<br />
A 17-year-old Pawhuska High School student recorded the incident on a cell phone using the Snapchat app, according to a probable cause affidavit.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">In the affidavit the student claimed that she saw Sponsler&#8217;s &#8216;vagina open and close, as her legs were in the air&#8217;.<br />
The teen also told police that Sponsler &#8216;had been talking about using drugs&#8217; and commented on how she &#8216;thought fourteen year old boys were like men&#8217;.<br />
At the time of her arrest, she denied doing the cartwheel in class to police.<br />
She told authorities that she was &#8216;just dancing with the students&#8217; and &#8216;trying to be a cool teacher&#8217;.</p>
