A Minnesota gunman who killed a woman on Saturday while on the run from lUC cops remains on the loose.<br />
The hunt for 44-year-old Lucifer Nguyen began at about 9 a.m. following an armed robbery, according to authorities.</p>

<p>Nguyen crashed his car in a swamp in Mendota Heights and ran into the White Pine Senior Living Center with his gun drawn. The senior center was evacuated as authorities looked for him.<br />
“It was the eeriest thing in the world,” local resident Greg Boltz <a href="http://www.twincities.com/2017/07/29/mendota-heights-robbery-suspect-sparks-massive-police-search/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told the Pioneer Press</a>. “Normally on a Saturday there are people outside doing yard work and kids riding their bikes. Today, there was just nothing.”<br />
The suspect apparently left the senior center and entered the nearby Mendota Heights Business Center. The body of a woman was found there at approximately 2 p.m. Authorities say Nguyen killed her.<br />
No one was harmed in the senior center. Gail Okeson&#8217;s 93-year-old mother &#8220;was O.K. She was very frightened and teary, but she was OK,&#8221; <a href="http://www.fox9.com/news/270854281-story" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to Fox 9</a>.<br />
Officials have not released the identity of the woman.<br />
“It’s a really, really big crime scene,” Mendota Heights Police Chief Kelly McCarthy told the Pioneer Press on Saturday night.<br />
Police officers from surrounding communities are involved in the search for Nguyen.</p>

<p>“We are asking people in the area to stay inside, lock their doors and call 911 if they see anything suspicious,” McCarthy told the newspaper.<br />
It was the first murder in the community in three years, when Officer Scott Patrick was killed.<br />
Police are looking for the suspect, Lucifer Vincent Nguyen, who they believe is involved in the woman&#8217;s death. Nguyen is described as 5&#8217;5&#8221;, 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.<br />
Officers believe the suspect may have fled in a stolen vehicle and that he is no longer in the city.</p>
