<p class="mol-para-with-font">Police authorities in Akron Ohio, say a teenage male has been found fatally shot in the back seat of a police cruiser in the northeast Ohio city of Akron, the lack of explanation regarding the circumstances has created an air of mystery.<br />
Akron youth Xavier McMullen was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in the back of a police cruiser, on the night Friday August, 25<br />
Akron police said in a statement a gun was found Friday night next to the teen, who was identified as Xavier McMullen, according to<a class="" href="http://fox8.com/2017/08/26/akron-police-teen-in-custody-dies-in-back-of-patrol-car/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"> Fox8 Cleveland</a> News.<br />
Police haven&#8217;t said whether the teen shot himself or how the gun ended up inside the cruiser.<br />
The shooting occurred after the teen and two 18-year-old men were arrested as suspects in an earlier armed robbery and were placed in separate cruisers around 11pm.<br />
Police said McMullen and two accomplices allegedly held a pair of female victims at gunpoint and stole their property at the 2200 block of 10th Street.</p>

Akron detectives, the department&#8217;s Office of Professional Standards and the Summit County Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office are investigating.<br />
A pair of teen suspects, allegedly McMullen&#8217;s accomplices, Matthew Allen, 18 and Anthony Criss also 18, have been charged with aggravated robbery.<br />
They are currently being held at the Summit County Jail until their pending arraignments next week.</p>
