A wall street corporate recruiter leapt to her death Monday morning from her Upper East Side home, in New York, police said.
Authorities suspect Lindsay Jacoby, a wealth management recruiter at Oppenheimer & Co.,died in Manhattan of an apparent suicide, the New York City Police Department said.
The 40-year-old married mother-of-two took the fatal plunge from the fourth floor of her tony brick home on 86th St. and East End Ave., close to Gracie Mansion, and landed in the private courtyard about 10:15 a.m.
Jacoby joined Oppenheimer in November 2016, according to her LinkedIn profile. She held a similar role for about eight years starting in 2007 at JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s asset management unit. She also ran her own recruiting firm, Jacoby Staffing, in New York, according to its website. The firm placed individuals in banks and financial institutions.

Jacoby, who graduated cum laude from Union College, wed Seth David Jacoby, the CEO and founder of Frame.com in 2005.
The city Medical Examiner will determine the precise cause of death.
