After winning one of the highest-ever Powerball jackpots in 2013, Quezada took a lump-sum, post-tax payment of $152 million.
Nearly $30,000 of that was used at the time to make child support payments that he had owed since 2009.
Quezada’s live-in girlfriend Ines Sanchez collecting the huge payout. She later had to sue to get ‘her share’. Sanchez later dropped the suit
Quezada again made headlines when his girlfriend of 10 years, Inez Sanchez, also the mother of one of his five children, sued him for a cut of his winnings.
Sanchez eventually dropped the lawsuit.
Following his big win, Quezada’s Passaic landlord in Passaic, NJ at the time claimed that after Quezada won, he left town without paying the $7,250 in back rent.
Neighbors also charged that Quezada reneged on a promise to pay the rent for all the neighbors on his block for more than a month.
He is charged Wednesday with two counts each of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and child endangerment. He was ordered held pending a detention hearing in Central Judicial Processing Court in Paterson, New Jersey.
