High-powered attorney Lisa Bloom said on Twitter Tuesday that she is representing the woman at the center of the scandal, whom she identified as Montia Sabbag.
Bloom said her client was “briefly” involved with the comedian last month, though she did not specify Sabbag’s role in the alleged extortion attempt.
“Although it’s been reported that law enforcement is investigating, we have no evidence of that.
While acknowledging that Sabbag and Hart had an “intimate relationship,” Bloom described her client as a “crime victim.”
She said someone “apparently” snuck cameras into Hart’s private hotel suite in Las Vegas and recorded “bedroom images” of her client with the comedian.
Lisa Bloom, who like her mom Gloria Allred has made a name defending women’s rights, recently represented Blac Chyna and actress Mischa Barton in their domestic violence restraining order cases, said her client plans to update authorities with what she knows and urge a thorough probe.
Montia has not been contacted,” Bloom said. “Therefore, we are announcing today that we will be going to the authorities immediately to report this matter.”
Bloom said her client had “no idea” who made the recording leaked to TMZ.com.
In contrast to an earlier report that when Hart’s representatives contacted Sebbag, she had requested $420,000 from the actor to take a lie detector test.A demand made through her lawyers, Bloom continued: “Montia and I are not asking for a cent from Kevin Hart. This is not about money. We are not suing him. We are not making any false claims against him. Any reports to the contrary are false,” Bloom said.

“She has accepted his apology and is focused on her pregnancy and what’s to come. She has no plans for divorce. She believes Kevin is a good husband and always comes home to her.”
