Thursday’s school shooter in New Mexico was not a student, rather he may have been a loser who just dissatisfied with the trajectory of his own life and decided to take the young lives of total strangers with him, as he departed, authorities said.
Before embarking on his shooting rampage at the Aztec High School on thursday morning,William Atchinson described his grisly plot in a social media post. Hours later, he would sneak into the school building disguised as a student and armed with a handgun, NM authorities said Friday.

Investigators trying to unravel the killer’s motives, discovered that before embarking on the senseless rampage, Atchinson detailed his plans in an eerie post on a gaming forum.
Addressing a press conference Friday morning, New Mexico State Police Chief Pete Kassetas said: “If thing go according to plan, today would be when I die,” Atchinson posted at 6:51 a.m., just hours before he opened fired on defenseless students at the school.
“I wait until the school buses are detected, then head on foot disguised as a student. I go somewhere and gear up, then hold a class hostage and go ape-s-t, then blow my brains out.”
Atchinson gave no clear motive for the shooting, except: “Work suck school sucks, life sucks. I Just want out of this s–t.”
