Swansea crown court heard how a young boy was subjected to a campaign of vile sexual abuse at the hands of his mother and her partner

A mother inexplicably forced her son to perform a sex act on her before asking him for “naked selfies”, a court heard. The boy, who was ten at the time, was subjected to a catalogue of sickening abuse at the hands of his mother and her boyfriend.
Swansea crown court in Wales heard of the child’s sickening exposure to incest and pedophilia in the home he shared with his mom.
In a series of chilling details the court heard that the child was told to use a sex toy on his mother and ordered to watch her in bed with her partner.
He was later forced to pose for a selfie alongside his naked mum.
The boy was also subjected to a string of ‘vile sexual abuse by his mother’s partner’, Wales Online reports.
Neither the child nor the couple can be identified to protect the identity of the boy, who lives in the Swansea Bay area.
The horrific abuse was only uncovered by chance when a former girlfriend of the man went to police with concerns over his perverted sexual preferences.
She said the man had an interest in incestuous online material, had expressed a desire to have sex with children in a sickening video and had begged her to dress as a young girl and call him “daddy” when they were making love.
One of the attorneys present for the hearing characterized the man’s thoughts as being “at best obscene, and in some cases described as disturbing and perverted”.
It emerged the man had been having an affair behind his former partner’s back with the mum of the boy he was abusing.
The court heard the woman downloaded the files she found onto a memory stick and handed it to the police. Later that same day officers went to the house where the man was living with his new partner and co-defendant, and her son.
Police were eventually able to coax the full story of abuse from the boy after going to the family home.
Gradually he painted a picture of the horrific abuse he had been subjected to. The young victim, who was 10 at the time, was initially reluctant to talk about what had happened to him in the proceeding weeks. But in the days that followed gradually began to open-up.
The court heard the boy said his mum’s partner had touched his penis a number of times, and asked him if he could put the boy’s penis in his mouth.
He said his mother had taken a “naked selfie” of them one morning before he went to school calling it their “little secret”, and he had been encouraged to use a sex toy on her. He also said she had performed a sex act on him while filming it on a mobile phone.
The boy said that one night he had gone into his mother’s room because he was having a nightmare. While he lay on a blow-up mattress under the bed, the couple had sex above him. During the sex his mum’s partner repeatedly asking if he was watching them, and if he wanted a brother or sister.
The victim didn’t say anything about what was going on because he didn’t want to upset his mum, who he said loved her new partner.
The victim’s biological dad described how the abuse had a catastrophic effect” upon his son.
Both the mother and her partner entered guilty pleas, after which they were warned they face lengthy prison terms at sentencing which is scheduled for Thursday.
Judge Peter Heywood, labelling the pair “despicable”, said: “They have both behaved in despicable manner, and will have to accept the consequences.”
The mum had pleaded guilty to sexual assaults, to taking an indecent photograph of a child, inciting a child to commit a sexual act, and causing a child to watch a sexual act, while her partner had pleaded guilty to sexual assaults, and to inciting a child to perform a sexual act. Both had also pleaded guilty to a joint charge of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
Both were remanded in custody.
