Police in Los Angeles say a body found dumped in a shallow grave is believed to be that of an aspiring actress and model who went missing in LA last month. Adea Shabani, 25, who is originally from Macedonia, was last seen leaving her Hollywood home on February 23 with her boyfriend Chris Spotz.

The 33-year-old, who was engaged to another woman, killed himself after leading cops on a high-speed chase last week.
Los Angeles police found what’s believed to be her body on Monday some 430 miles away in a shallow grave by a creek in the Spenceville Wildlife Area, California.
Through an attorney, Spotz told detectives that the pair left Los Angeles on a road trip to Spotz’s father’s house in northern California.
He told cops the pair had an argument during the drive and he let her out on the side of motorway, but didn’t see her again, officers say.

The 25-year-old model and aspiring actress had moved to the US from her home in Macedonia two years ago, with the aim of pursuing her dreams in tinsel town
Los Angeles Police Capt. Billy Hayes told a press conference: “We don’t believe that was true. There was nothing to support what he was saying, so that’s what caused our interest in it.”
During the investigation into her disappearance, PC Hayes said Spotz and his fiancée drove from Los Angeles to her parents’ home in Fort Morgan, Colorado, just outside of Denver. When detectives tried to track him down there, Spotz was gone and issued a warrant for his truck.
On Thursday, he led police on a chase after they tried to pull him over in LA before he fatally shot himself in the head.

Capt. Hayes said detectives suspect that the model has been dead for more than a month and suspect Spotz to behind her death.
He declined to comment on a possible motive or how she was killed, but did not rule out that others could be involved in her killing.
Adea had been living in Los Angeles for two years when she went missing.
The blonde who moved to the US armed with a business degree from the American University of Paris, was a student at Stella Adler Academy of Acting, located in the heart of Hollywood.
Her worried family flew in from Macedonia to help in the search for her, even hiring a private investigator and offering a $25,000 reward.
