<p class="mol-para-with-font">Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma have arrested a mother who went on the run with her seven-year-old daughter after she allegedly stabbed another daughter and set her house on fire.<br />
Taheerah Ahmad, 39, and her seven-year-old daughter Hafsa Hayle were found in a vehicle in downtown Tulsa on Tuesday afternoon.<br />
Ahmad was taken into custody and police said her daughter was safe.</p>

The seven-year-old girl managed to help her nine-year-old sister escape so she could run to a nearby house for help.<br />
By the time police arrived at the home, Ahmad had already fled with her youngest daughter.<br />
Police found the kitchen on fire and the 11-year-old suffering multiple stab wounds. . Police had been searching for Ahmad after finding her older daughters bound with duct taping their hands and socks stuffed in their mouths at their home.<br />
The injured girl remains in a critical condition in hospital and authorities say she was stabbed so many times they were unable to count the exact number of wounds.</div>

Ahmad is currently being questioned by the Tulsa Police Department.<br />
Police had initially said it was unclear where Ahmad may have been headed but that she had lived in Tennessee and Texas in the past.<br />
Ahmad may be suffering from mental health or drug related issues, according to police.</p>

<p>Tulsa police apprehended the alleged stabber and kidnapper after members of the public spotted a vehicle similar to what police described in an Amber Alert issued earlier on Tuesday.</p>
