Investigators would like access to the Facebook page of a Pennsylvania police sergeant’s wife in connection to the shooting death of a suspended teacher who had previously been caught in a car with a student.
Rachael DelTondo was shot multiple times outside her mother’s home in Aliquippa earlier this month. After the May 13 killing, police issued a search warrant for the phone belonging to Sheldon Jeter Jr, the teenager who was found in the car with DelTondo in 2016.
Police had asked Jeter for the clothes he was wearing the night of the murder, and he initially surrendered a pair of khaki pants and a windbreaker. But an affidavit says he was seen on surveillance cameras wearing something different, a gray sweatshirt.
Jeter also told police he spoke with DelTondo earlier in the evening at the Circle K convenience store, but while tapes show DelTondo there, they do not show Jeter.
Jeter’s attorney Santicola says his client his is innocent cooperated with investigators and told no lies regarding events.
