Young also faces an additional charge of criminal attempted sodomy, and McGowan faces counts of simple assault. They are being held without bond.
According to court documents cited by WSB-TV, between June 2017 and April 2018, McGowan and Young allegedly kept the woman’s teenage sons confined to the cellar of a relative’s home on North Hairston Road for hours at a time.
During that period, the children were only given noodles to eat once a day.
Arrest warrants allege that McGowan and Young also exposed her sons to drug use and performed sexual acts in front of them.
Investigators also alleged that the duo exposed the kids to drug use and sexual activity, and attempted to have the children participate.
Young also allegedly tried to force the boys to perform sex acts on him, leading to the attempted sodomy charge, reported Fox 5 Atlanta.
They’re both charged with first-degree child cruelty for depriving necessary sustenance, first-degree child cruelty for excessive physical or mental pain and second-degree child cruelty for excessive physical or mental pain, according to DeKalb County Jail records.
Young faces an addition.
They pair were both denied bond.

Arthur Dyer, Young’s uncle and the owner of the property where the suspected abuse had allegedly taken place, defended his nephew and vehemently denied that the children had ever been in his basement.

He also told WSB-TV that McGowan’s boy are ‘bad.’
Records indicate that McGowan has a past criminal record in Georgia, which includes charges of fraud, forgery and obstruction of officers.
