Police believe the two bodies found in Oklahoma are two missing people from Temple, Texas.
Temple police received information on January 9 concerning the disappearance of Jenna Scott, 28, and 32-year-old Michael Swearingin. The duo have been missing since January 4 at 3am.
That information led them to Clearview, Oklahoma, which is in between Oklahoma City and Tulsa,  KXAN reports. Scott and Swearingin’s car was found in Austin January 5.

‘The identity of the victim(s) and cause(s) and manner(s) of death will be determined at autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner,’ the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said, according to KWTX.
Law enforcement at the scene of the house in Clearview said they would be at the home for multiple days searching about 100 square-yards. No one is living at the home, but it is not a completely abandoned property.
Foul play is being looked at as a possibility as a result, CBS Austin reports.

Home surveillance equipment is said to be missing from Swearingin’s home in Temple, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

Last summer, Scott filed a protective order against her ex-boyfriend Cedric Marks, who was said to have had a history of violence. But that was denied by a judge. Scott revealed that Marks told her he killed someone in Oklahoma.
“He told me he had killed someone in Oklahoma, but that he was able to cover it up and that he could do the same here in Texas,” Scott’s statement says.
According to her statement, Marks spent part of his childhood in Oklahoma as well.
Marks was recently arrested for burglary in Michigan. He will be extradited to Bell County. In another development, police in Minnesota said they are looking into Mark’s connection to another missing woman who disappeared in 2009. The woman, April Pease, had a child with Marks.

On Tuesday, the OSBI confirmed that the Temple Police Department investigators were helping with the homicide investigation
‘The Oklahoma State Medical Examiners Office will be responsible for making the positive identifications at autopsy,’ Temple police said. ‘The Scott and Swearingin families have been notified of this preliminary identification.’
Scott’s father shared that he had been in contact with the police on Tuesday, but that he didn’t think he could share anything from the case.

GoFundMe had been set up to help find the mother-of-one and Swearingin. It had made more than $21,000 and had an original goal of $10,000.
‘Both of these kids have parents that are searching and praying for their safe return,’ the page said. ‘Donations will be applied toward the private investigator fees and applied to related search efforts to find these two and reunite them with their families. Prayers and contributions are greatly appreciated.’
