A 47-year-old man accused of raping a drugged 13-year-old girl and then dumping her at a hospital where she later died may have dozens more victims.

Carlos Rivera is charged with giving Chloe Ricard drugs and raping her at his Massachusetts home before dropping her at the emergency room of Lawrence General Hospital back in May.
The teenager was pronounced dead at the hospital and an autopsy found she had cocaine and fentanyl in her system.
He is also charged with sexually abusing an unnamed teenager.
Rivera of 59 Bellevue St., Lawrence, is charged with two counts of distribution of Class B drugs to a minor, two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and one count of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, according to a statement released by the office of District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett.

Ricard and the other teenager were at Rivera’s Lawrence apartment at 59 Bellevue St. on the evening of May 19 and during most of the next day, when events leading to ricard’s untimely death unfolded according to the statement.
Rivera pled not guilty to multiple felony charges last month but the Essex District Attorney’s Office said they are still investigating and believe he may have ‘more than a dozen’ more victims.

Court documents allege that Rivera lured multiple teenage girls to his home and fed them drugs and alcohol in exchange for sex.
Following his arrest after Chloe’s death, investigators say they found about 7,000 images on his phone of teen girls.
He also allegedly filmed himself sexually abusing some of the girls and would ask them to send sexual photos of themselves, according to investigators.

He also allegedly had women’s underwear around his home, as well as female toiletries stocked in his bathroom. One woman told authorities that Rivera would sometimes buy outfits for his alleged victims to wear.
One woman who said she used to frequent Rivera’s home said he had over 100 photos of girls plastered all over his bedroom.
‘He is always with girls,’ the woman told investigators.
Another woman said she used to party at Rivera’s home about five years ago and claims there was always girls as young as 13 there.
‘Carlos would pull out drugs and expect you to do stuff with him sexually,’ she said.
The Essex District Attorney’s Office said they are now conducting an a grand jury investigation that could potentially bring further charges against Rivera.

Chloe Ricard 2Court records allege that Rivera drove Chloe [center], to the hospital on May 20 and flagged hospital employees to help her. Court documents allege that Chloe was struggling to breathe on Rivera’s couch in the hours before she died

Chloe’s mother Deborah and stepfather Brian Dolan reported her missing before they got a text saying she was in the hospital.
Court records allege that Rivera drove Chloe to the hospital on May 20 and flagging hospital allegedly walked over to a nearby drain and disposed of some items.
Rivera then got onto his hands and knees to double check he had disposed of the items properly, court records show.
Investigators later searched the sewer and allegedly found two cut-up white plastic straws, an orange cigarette filter and a small bag of white powder.
The court documents say that Chloe was allegedly struggling to breathe on Rivera’s couch in the hours before she died.
Her autopsy found traces of cocaine and fentanyl in her system.
Police believe Chloe and a young friend went to Rivera’s home on May 19 and were still there on the day the 13-year-old died.
Chloe’s family say the last time they saw her alive was on May 19 when they dropped her off at a friend’s house.
That night, when she did not come home, they thought she had run away.

Her mother was at the police station reporting her missing on May 20 when she received a text saying her daughter had been taken to the hospital suffering cardiac arrest.
Her family say she was a troubled teenager who had been struggling with the death of her father five years earlier.
Chloe’s family who believe the teen was in ‘the wrong place at the wrong time’, have expressed outrage after learning that Rivera allegedly dumped the her body at the hospital.
‘She didn’t even have a pulse when they pushed her out of the car. The only thing I was told earlier from another agency is… someone 47 years old dropped her off,’ her stepfather Brian Dolan said at the time.
‘Whoever did this to my little stepdaughter, trust me, I hope there’s hell to pay because they threw her out of the car like a bag of trash.
‘If that was your kid, if that was your sister, if that was your brother, or your mother, or your father, what would you do? I’m beside myself.’
