Carolyn Pope, 29, of Fairview, was found dead around 8 pm, Wednesday near power lines in a wooded area of Wrigley, the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Warrants have been issued for Mitchell Hinderliter and Christopher Hall for abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and making a false police report, authorities said.

Pope had been missing for nearly two weeks. Friends and family called her disappearance suspicious because her car was found on the side of the road, but her sim card was also missing from her phone.
Pope, who lived in Fairview with her 5-year-old daughter and grandmother, was last seen alive Oct. 12 at a home on Tidwell Lane, WKRN reported.
Her worried grandmother filed a missing person’s report the next day, according to the report.
The investigation is still active.
Both men who are already in jail on unrelated charges, likely will face more charges once the medical examiner’s report is released, the sheriff’s office said.
