<div>Jayden Straight of Des Moines, Iowa was 17 years old when he violently shook and killed his baby in 2018.<br />
Straight, now 19, pled guilty to second-degree murder, three counts of willful injury and two counts of child endangerment and was told he will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars on Friday, <a class="class" href="https://whotv.com/2019/11/08/des-moines-man-who-killed-infant-daughter-gets-100-years-in-prison/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">WHOTV</a> reports.<br />

His six sentences will run consecutively and will see him jailed until 2119.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text);">Raija was born in November 2017. Following her birth, Straight posted a photo of himself holding his daughter.<br />

According to a GoFundMe page, Raija had been badly beaten when she was rushed to the hospital.<br />
Raija held on for as long as she could but her injuries were too severe,&#8217; the page read.</p>
